I absolutely love this game. It's the only game where I have 200 hours, the second is 120 for comparison.
If you like it, you most likely like Spark the Electric Jester. It's longer, less serious and will get awesome 3D sequel.

Finally bought it this Steam sale and finished Spark's campaign yesterday, it was pretty meh overall, but that might've had everything to do with the second half of the game running like shit on my toaster. Briefly tried out Fark and he seems more fun at least, but not gonna play any more of this until I get a better computer.

the level design didn't have much thought put into it. they just added a bunch of sonic type shit without considering why those are in sonic games in the first place. spark is a game who's levels don't fit with the core gameplay.

the devs should've focused more on fleshing out spark's electric powers than just giving him kirbyish powers and designed the level around that like pic related.
