>tfw no ss2

prob the only game wasted on vita

The game is finished. A sequel wouldn't make sense.

You don't want that one, you want Delta though.
Wouldn't surprise me if Soul Sac Delta, Freedom Wars, and Killzone Mercenaries get PS4 or PS5 ports down the line.
Sony has done a ton of remasters of their past catalog, but most of their handheld stuff is still untapped. It's also easy to just write Bluepoint a check and have them work on that stuff for you since they do a good job, they're cheap and it leaves their studios free to make whatever they want.

Why the fuck did you make this thread again

Why do people keep begging for Sony IPs to get ported to PC and Switch

>Wasted
Only a retard doesnt have a vita/vita tv by now.

Would love a new Soul Sac game with a different set of characters. A direct sequel wouldnt work

>When the Vita was the best in the generation
Sure, just take a bunch of Vita ports, not like other platforms actually had any games to look forward to, or a decent library.

Soul Sacrifice would be good on PS4, I dont know why it hasnt happened yet when they gladly ported Gravy Rush and Tearaway

Why would I want a Vita for like one game when almost all of its library I'd care about is on other platforms?

I have a Vita and still never played this. Wouldn't mind a PS4 port because I really don't like handhelds very much.

As soon as the vita emulator hits

Bluepoint does like half of the HD remasters and they're busy with the Shadow of the Colossus remake right now.
I'm a bit more surprised at no Killzone port yet seeing as how FPS are pretty popular on consoles, as are Killzone games. Maybe they're waiting to do a Killzone collection with Killzone Mercenaries bundled like how they handled Wipeout Omega.

I dont understand how this game is liked. It's literally just you fighting mobs in a room with skills that somehow run out mid combat everytime.

I want Killzone 4. Shadow Fall doesnt count just like how Liberation didnt count as 3.

Fuck Guerrila for abandoning what they were good at in favor of open-world garbage

With how well that Horizon game sold for them I wouldn't expect a new Killzone for a while. Sort of like how the Armored Core games stopped once FromSoft struck gold with the Souls games.

You can refill your skills though.

Only after the combat. And that run out. Right now in my game, I dont have enough blood to even go fight anything.
What kind of game is that.

The smaller enemies around the map that you fight the boss on can be sacrificed to refill offerings. The only fight you cannot do that on is the final boss since it doesn't provide you any enemies.

So what you are saying is that you cannot do a no sacrifice run? That seem weird.

holy fucking shit
you can refill your skills sacrificing or saving depending on your faction
you can refill your skills on the final boss
you can refill your skills by using some scenario objects/places and even using offerings from some scenario props

if you run out of an offering mid battle you're oficially awful at this game

There's a huge amount of variety in skills and playstyle. So many playstyles are viable and multiplayer only increases the possibilities. I had most fun doing full CC builds where I'd setup a self healing ground, suck the boss(es) to me with a spell, and hold enemies in time stasis for my allies to beat up. Projectile based builds are really fun too

>you can refill your skills sacrificing or saving depending on your faction
That is if you're playing Delta, I don't remember any factions in OG SS.

Guess I'm awful? I literally gave up on the game because I had no fun trying to find a single skill I could use due to lack of blood. I'll put some juice in my Vita for the first time in a year and I'll check out.

I'd prefer to see a refined sequel or anything that's an excuse to add a ton of new spells, monsters and improved graphics, since Delta was about fairy tales make a new game about literal gods or japanese youkai or some other form of fantasy shit

Every Offering(spells) have a number of Casts(uses) depending on type and power, if you use them all the offering is "destroyed" which requires the books tears to restore, however during battle you sacrifice enemy's to restore a number of casts on all you're offerings each time you sacrifice an enemy, i don't remember vanilla but in delta you can change how you restore casts by choosing factions and there's also objects scattared around the arena that you can interact with by holding x when it promts you to and restore casts that way i don't know if these objects exists in vanilla.

I only have the original. And yeah I always tried to not use ALL charges on the items. But I ran out in most battles.

The different ways to restore offering casts was added in delta because of many people complaining about saving being pretty useless. alot of other stuff was added in delta not to mention that it has a better resolution.

>you can refill your skills on the final boss
I don't remember any drawing points like those trees that refill offerings in the final boss area and there were no mobs on the final boss since it was a one on one fight.

the boss drops thingies that you can use to restore your offerings

Try farm and fuse your offerings to their max level with three stars, since you can't recover your offerings in this battle (but the game renew your offerings when you enter the second phase.)

>that feel when have a Vita given to me by a friend and recently bought a Vita TV for $30 from GameStop
Why did the TV price spike so hard anyway? That $30 felt like a steal compared to online prices now

That is what I thought, you can't renew it during the battle. You have to do some offering management so you don't deplete them so they can be renewed for the transformation.

They released it in Japan where it bombed extremely hard, then released it in NA where it bombed so hard it took 3 years to get rid of their initial day 1 shipment of them. So the low price was mostly due to it not selling.
If you mean the prices now spiking up it's because there was only the one shipment of them, and people were buying them up to hack and get free games. Less supply with higher demand for henkaku means higher price.

really? I barely remember the final boss fight and its different phases but I remember that it dropped some thingies you could use to replenish your offerings
am I insane

Its extremely handy for playing PSP, PS1, and Vita games on a TV and Remote Playing your PS4, and its as small as my wallet, I dont get why people didn't buy into it

well thats the final boss from vanilla sacrifice it could be different for the delta final boss

I don't remember either it was awhile

The side stories and overall narrative and setting were really well done.

The power cord doubles as a 5V PSP charger for any PSP but the GO too.

I never got to Magusar in Delta. Planning on doing it eventually. But yeah that is what I sort of remember in vanilla, most of your charges being very precious since you didn't have a normal way to refresh them like other bosses with sacrificing trash mobs or utilizing map offerings to renew yours.

I loved how they managed to make you like them even when you started hating them so much
that fucking ost and voice

A lot of vita games did'nt work on it. however if you hacked it they could be played just fine.

I liked pretty much every side story except the singer one.

Any good games come out for the vita in the last year or two?

Oh yeah when my offerings started blinking red.

As far as I know the ones that didnt work were heavy on Vita gimmicks you couldnt do with a controller.

P4G working is more than enough for me.

It is one hell of a way to open up with the side stories. Carnatux was awesome.

did'nt alot of them work on a hacked vita tv?

Exclusive or not? Romancing SaGa 2 is great. It spurred my interest in RPGs once again.

Exclusive preferably.

Sadly i can't think of any atm. There are some visual novel type games but i dunno about those. Many vita games this year are either indies that get on alot of different platforms or releases that are shared with the ps4

There really aren't any new exclusives that came out last year or this. What ever exclusives the Vita did have have been ported to other consoles that apparently really needed games.

Funny how people kept clamoring for games like Gravity Rush to come out for the PS4 and now Gravity Rush 2's online support is quickly getting snipped. The Vita lasted as long as it did because people actually supported the games.

It would probably be easier to just list all the game's that still are exclusives to the vita.

Freedom Wars is better
