It's good game but has a bad fanbase, unlike me
What are fanbases even?
I play a game and I either like it or dislike it.
I'll them play another game.
People who become obsessed with a game to the point of defending it against all criticisms, including legitimate ones.
souls series
Well, this statement isn't wrong. And that's why I stopped playing TF2 as well.
So? What's that to me?
Fanbases can affect games over time, and always for the worst.
Case in point.
The fanbase is the people who enjoy a product. Oftentimes they can turn cancerous, but as a whole it's just everyone who likes the thing in question.
It literally only matters in multiplayer games where you have to actually interact with people that like the game.
How is this wrong?
SAVAGES
>THEY'RE CASUALS, CASUALS, BARELY EVEN GAMERS
No, money does.
DIRTY HEATHEN DEVILS
>tfw you look back at it and find out that Demopan was relatively mild back in 2010 compared to the horrors of today.
MMOs and games with online interaction are affected by this. Imagine an MMO with 50% bots fucking up the economy or a shooter with 90% hackers. How can the game even survive long? Even worse, a highly ping dependent game with a laggy Brazilian majority. *Shudders*
This image would be better if it didn't include Halloween restricted items.

I WONDER IF THEY EVEN BLEED
>tfw you love the cosmetics and made your guys look unique and cool
Not if you want to discuss the game with other people who played it. Case in point:
>XB2
>Want to talk about the game
>A dozen threads
>They're all waifu circle jerks
This. Cumbrains ruin discussion.
