>best game in the series is the most hated
What are some other examples of this?
>best game in the series is the most hated
What are some other examples of this?
You first.
...
DARK Souls 2
>3D World
>most hated
What world am I in?
code veronica
...
You're wrong but Mario still applies, because Lost Levels is the most hated but its also the best in the series with the best level design
neo-Sup Forums doesn't love Metroid Prime as much anymore
Before MGS4 this would have been true, still the best though.
It's neither the best or the most hated.
This game got way more shit than it deserved.
MGS V is by far the most hated, and I've never even played an MGS game.
Someone is going to post Dark Souls 2. Laugh at it when they do.
>that image
Words to live by
>worst game in the series is rightfully the most hated
Feels good.
You're factually wrong, it is the best.
It's sadistically brutal. And don't even give me the "get gud" response. The fact that you don't have unlimited lives is just unreasonable. I still love it, but that game expects too much from the player.
Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter
Smash Bros Melee
He said most hated, not most beloved.
V is the best actually
sauce
It pisses me off to no end how red enemies can steal your experience points.
Twilight Princess.
Phantom Hourglass is the most hated though.
There's a very good reason AoL is hated
I kind of want another Zelda like this where there's no real antagonist for a change
I hope they make another game like this
It's probably both, honestly.
isn't Gaiden the most hated?
Fire Emblem Fates
It's the autistic fans that people hate.
I hope you're not referring to Revelations.
...
It was shit on for a while when Sm4sh was new and people were trying to play competitively and couldn't.
...
...
my nigga.
>implying 2 isn't the best and the most hated
After SoV people pretend to always have liked Gaiden and its shit gameplay.
I don't see how people can hate it while pretending Spirit Tracks is good.
ST is considerabily less shit in virtue of not having the backtracking dungeon.
only real post in the thread
I refuse to play Spirit Tracks despite Zelda being my favourite franchise after that shit show. The very sight of Phantom Hourglass' horrific visuals get me riled up.
Train was actually fun
No shitty backtracking dungeon
FAR less empty over world
Better dungeons
Better controls
I don't see how can people even begin to compare both of them.
That was the only thing ST did right. The train was a terrible alternative to the boat.
>I'm special: The Thread
before you ask, I liked Zelda II, and you clearly don't know the franchise if you thing Zelda II is the most hated. That would go to Skyward Sword, which is appallingly divisive.
>most people that hate this but love galaxy and galaxy 2
>Loved the game without knowing it was part of an old franchise
>Find out it's extremely hatred because it isn't mechanically like the rest
That seems to be a recurring thing in Capcom franchises. There's a subset of Mega Man fans that have an absurd vitriol for the Battle Network and Zero games.
>The train was a terrible alternative to the boat.
Boat was just fucking terrible in both Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass
At least train had catchy music and different scenarios other than empty sea
git gud
If I can beat it, I'm sure you can too.
PH did at least have one of the better Zelda characters.
It's a shame that Temple of the Ocean King is the singular, most badly designed Zelda dungeon of all time.
I'd sooner take the Great Palace and Palace 5/6 in Zelda II over that godawful shit. Should've just been a circular room with various doors and one would open every time you returned for a new part of the dungeon, or just have it wind down BUT GIVE US A FUCKING TELEPORT.
Captcha: MOZART Pear
Could Mozart still be alive?
PH was fine with how you could draw out a route to follow and could change it at anytime. ST was following tracks the whole way and was just tedious going back and forth for me.
why was this game shitted on?
Was it because of the Cat presentation?
I really enjoyed it -and- UR MR GAY 1 and 2.
I remember just relaxing as it snowed outside, playing on my WiiU controller and doing World Flower.
When I beat Champion's Road it felt good.
I'm sure I can too, but I'm not willing to go through the entire game time after time just to keep retrying certain areas.
and yet PH boat was just so.fucking.SLOW
Both were tedious, train just less so for me.
