There is no way to make a game that is like the poem without it being a walking simulator.

Anyway it plays like God of War except not as good. Still kinda fun and makes cool references to the Canticle, like setting and specific souls.

Well I don't know of any that specifically deal with it. I googled Black/Matrix and it seemed like the best match but it is Japanese only.

I know Xenogears and Shin Megami Tensei have some religious themes overall sometimes being Christian but I'm aware of any games that are overt about it.

It's probably hard to make games like this because it would face backlash/ poor sales in America.
