They really don't. I've been doing each bit as they come out(literally only wiped once) and it doesn't let you go further until that content is unlocked every two weeks.

LFR isn't real raiding scrub. Normal and up is already released for ABT.
What you actually should be doing is joining a guild and raiding with them but you can also use group finder to find groups that are raiding in normal difficulty or higher

Modern WoW is as easy/hard as you want it to be. You can stay doing braindead LFR modes or actually do mythics if you want something that requires a brain/teamwork.

No, what we're saying is you should be talking to players and learning about the community and gameplay systems both from city Trade channel chat and fan-sites. If you're new to a 14 year old game, I'm sorry but there's a little legwork you need to do to get up to speed on what the endgame goals are and how to participate.

Blizzard does the absolute best job in the industry in trying to attract new players like you, you're lucky you have as many guideposts and UI hints as you do. But for you to be offended at the game you just started playing when you barely understand it is pretty offensive. The endgame is about socializing and teamwork to get exclusive challenges and rewards. Socialize. And don't be fucking butthurt about it.

There's an in-game Dungeon Journal button on your UI that lets you look at dungeons and raids, separated by expansion, and see each boss, what it's moves are, what it can drop, and little drop-down menus to filter the gear difference between difficulties. You literally didn't explore the helpful hints Blizzard crams in your face every patch when you log into each individual character. They literally spoonfeed this to you.
Argus scythe and trinket doesn't drop in LFR thank god. Git gud and actually do raiding. Normal isn't that hard to pug. Tier gear in LFR should have stayed off too but Blizz listened to the MoP babbies.

They have to make tweaks to the raid so that it's suitable for the retards who run LFR. It's probably easier to release wings piece by piece as opposed to delaying it entirely so that they can make the tweaks.

Legion is the best WoW has been in years. ABT is a solid end game raid(if you mention pvp I'm gonna laugh at your face, theres tons of better games to beat niggas up in). Tons of content to do outside of raiding. Tons of lore for the game/class you play.
Most of the guilds I see recruiting are roleplaying guilds, and the ones I see for actual content seem to have high standards. Got any suggestions on where I should look?

The reason they do it is so that the regular raiding crowd (i.e. the large number of guilds that will be clearing normal and heroic within the first month) don't feel additionally compelled to run LFR in order to fill out tier sets and/or get stupid broken trinkets like CoF during NH, this was especially true for Antorus where the base ilvl for LFR is equal to heroic ToS gear. For these players, by the time the last two LFR wings come out you should have your entire heroic 4pc tier set and have no reason to ever step into LFR.
Basically Blizz wants LFR to be run by the people who it's actually designed for (i.e. those who can't actually raid for one reason or another), this is also why they removed tier sets from LFR during WoD to further remove incentives for normal raiders.

It's actually because the content is balanced for the raid group to have farmed the first wing, so it's implemented with a somewhat higher itemlevel in mind than the previous one.
Can those weapons be bonus rolled for? I have all of my BiS gear, but I STILL don't fucking have those transmog weapons. Same with Maiden's Hammer and all the other raid weapon transmogs. I also STILL don't have Tusks of Mannoroth.

I was confused why Malfurion and Tyrande played such a little part in the actual Legion story, they didn't really react much to the Illidari either. I can't say I'm really surprised, neither Tyrande or Malfurion are good characters. Tyrande is an impulsive stupid bitch and Malfurion is a fucking un-charismatic idiot. Tusks as far as I can tell are exceptionally rare, most of the people I know who own it have 300-1900 kills on Garrosh but most of those are bonus roll kills because there is no daily lockout.
As for the legion weapons, I honestly don't know. I have not seen a single bonus rolled Taeshalach/Hammer/Shoulders of the First Satyr so I'm inclined to believe they can't be bonus rolled but don't quote me on that.
Because Blizz loves Fury and refuses to nerf it even though it's legitimately retarded that they're using a 2 tier old trinket AND they nerfed DoS for Arms AND CoF was already garbage for Arms because they intentionally made the proc rate garbage because of how broken it would have been. (super butthurt Arms warrior)
A lot of these outdated trinkets being relevant still is just a consequence of titanforging like Bloodthirsty Instict for MM and Unstable Arcanocrystal for like half the specs in the game. Ironically, that's not actually the case for CoF because the base effect is just so good that the rest of the actual stats don't matter and the chance is the same no matter what ilvl version you have.

I've heard that they're attached to personal loot regardless of what loot type you go in with and can't be traded, so if you get lucky and PL goes off for it, you just get it in your bags. I've seen at least one person get both weapons in one run though.

Legion was an incredible expansion completely butchered by titanforging and RNG legendaries. all natural gear progression got thrown out the window by titanforging and it completely fucked up wows natural flow. and legendaries have been a huge shitshow all expansion and blizzard refuses to do anything about it.
basically if you want to gear up in any other expansion you figure out what specific things you need to do to improve your gear and you do it. this is great, this is how it should be. in legion if you want to improve your gear the only thing you do is "play as much as possible" this fucking sucks.
I wouldn't say they love fury since their first instinct this hotfix was to nerf the shit out of the spec instead of the trinket, but thankfully they went back on that and just nerfed CoF. It's still their BiS even with the nerfs.

Got any insight on Monk vs Druid? Druid was my first class, but Monk quickly became my favorite before I took a long ass break. I like both thematically and in general. Just playing at a semi-casual level, will play all specs. Plan on doing both, just can't pick which one to do first.
But then you'd be able to work for it, which would reward hard work instead of just getting lucky, and Blizzard can't have that anymore. If the average LFR fuckwit like OP can't get the best gear in the game, it's just not fair as far as Blizzard is concerned.

Garrisons are the coolest game design feature for WoW ever on paper but they literally killed the economy and player interaction outside of raiding/high end pvp. If garrisons were just glorified player housing WoD wouldn't be hated as much. The fact that you got profession recipes,mats,gear, etc. killed it. Poor guy who thought it was a good idea to include all the professions and gaining gear through garrisons is probably fired now.
World Quests aren't amazing but atleast I get to group up with other niggas sometimes to kill a world boss or some shit.

bear and resto are probably "better" than BM/mist, bringing more raid utility and stuff, but monks roles are still great for raw numbers.
There's literally a dedicated button at the bottom that has recommended content and when you go to a raid it says "find a group".

It's always astounded me the kind of shit people will willingly sit through in this game in regards to guilds. I used to leave guilds all the time when they tried to pull shit on me, even in Vanilla/BC when server communities still existed and were important. Any kind of guild that does the shit he went through is small time and not worth staying in.
yeah, its like a decade of add-ons, and like most MMOs they just add new continents instead of working on the world. except cata which destroyed the world instead of working on it. it makes it so you cant really put any stock into anything until the latest expansion.
ff14 is like pre-wow levels of out outdated tab-target hotkey design, thats what turned me off hugely.
Dungeons were never that complex, but mobs hit harder and lasted longer. It ended up that large pulls were more complicated than any of the bosses. They've gradually improved mechanically, and the ones with story are a lot of fun.
Levelling is absolute braindead garbage, and dungeons are a fucking joke
I really hope the upcoming update will fix it but I'm not holding my breath
