I'd play that, also who was in the wrong?
is reviewbrah okay?
>Final boss is the protagonist from the last playthrough
Hopefully not.
Anybody else notice how strange he acts here?
youtube.com
>final boss is the previous chosen one
>final boss is the antagonist that was established in the beginning of the game
final boss is your trainer
Why does every fucking rpg DLC have this trope?
It was like he was trying to convey some message to an actual Illuminati, what the fuck?
>final boss is a building
Who would win a fight between these two gentlemen? The supreme or the cultured?
Oh shit I never knew the gold cards changed his old fight dialogue.
>due to a shitty rushed endgame it's a curbstomp battle in your favor that ends in five seconds
Loved it when they pulled this in the Gothic series.
>final boss is the protagonist from the current game
>It's a fictional scenario that never happened in a video game thread
>paired with reactions and no games discussion
>I've never seen it happen so it never happened
weak bait, but I'll give you a (You) for the new year
Tales of Symphonia 2's true ending.
>final boss is the protagonist of the next game
Technically Dragon's Dogma in that your previous character becomes the last boss with each playthrough. Also Invisible War if you side against JC
Deus Ex (the one we don't talk about)
Which scenario in this thread has never happened?
>Elliot vs Reviewbrah fight to the death
>their area is a Walmart with anything goes
Who would win?
I posted and was explicitly referring to Dawn of Sorrow but I know other games that do it too so fuck you
The only proper endgame in Invisible War was killing everyone on the Island.
A suitable end to the hot garbage that it is.
the psycho killer.
>final boss is a minor boss from a previous game
Is there a game that has the most thoroughly evil antagonist ever but still manages to make his death bittersweet at best? Like, no tragic backstory, no redeeming qualities, but you still somehow feel bad.
My nigha
>final boss is a minor NPC from a previous game
What Videogame Crossover is this?
...
>protagonist from the previous game teams up with you with his squad and helps your squad to take down the final boss.
>sequel completely shits on the lore and narrative of the previous games in the series
>final boss is just you sitting there doing nothing to win
Fug, I want to play that again now.
OFF
Giygas from Earthbound is explicitly this. You could argue there's a bit of a tragic backstory to him but ultimately he was an unrepentant alien invader at first who was tasked with wiping out humanity, who somehow between games grew in his psychic abilities enough that it engulfed him and turned him into the eldritch aberration you have to put down in Earthbound. Giygas is stated time and time again in the game to be malice and evil incarnate and he directly or indirectly causes all of the bad shit that happens throughout the course of the game but during the boss fight there are elements in the music and in Giygas' sprite that reflect torment and the creators said they wanted to convey the idea that he was "even still a living creature that needed or deserved love"
>betraying The Batter
Even if you regret your actions at that point not finishing it is crueler than the alternative.
>the antagonist that was established in the beginning of the game is you
>the final boss is the established protagonist
Post Review bras mom or sister, either is fine
Reviewbrah could have probably stopped Elliot, his superior caucasian build would have easily overpowered the pitiful happas weakened genetic form.
Reviewbrah would have started choking him with one hand while firmly explaining the benefits of using a starbucks takeaway cup to drink water and stay hydrated before crumpling Elliots neck like a plastic cup.
