I think you have autism.

I don't really see the point of playing the game again. Once was enough. Very stylish but long as fuck and incredibly easy.

No excuse for not having played it by now, it's a masterpiece entirely worth your time

honestly, there’s absolutely no difference between the PS2 and PS4 version aside from resolution and shorter loading times
only double-dip this game if you have a 4k tv for maximum image quality or if your first time was with the shitty Wii version

A masterpiece of its medium
A videogame pretty much everyone should play and complete

That's why you get the moddable PC version.

Why would you want anything to be different on the PC version?
Except for having people mod Reset back into the credits of course

I'm waiting for a sale on PSN cause I don't buy stuff full price

played it for the first time a week back and thought it was fantastic. it really felt like a grand adventure and even if it was way too easy all of brush styles were used to good effect and combat was fine.
really didn't enjoy fighting orochi three times though, that was easily the worst boss in the game.

I just finished the Tsuta Ruins earlier today. It's my first playthrough. Played on PC. Here are my goods and bads of the game:

>Good:
. Music
. Atmosphere
. Art design
. Enemy designs are cool, especially the suicidal fish and the ass-slapping demons
. Brush system is fun, though the detection for shapes needs a little improvement
. HIt sounds are nice and satisfying for weapons
. Controlling Amaterasu feels great
. Comfy when feeding animals or digging holes

>Bad
. A bit too easy (at least so far)
. Some dialogues are unskippable (you can't press F1 twice to skip them)
. Issun guides the player a little too much
. The "gibberish" language dubbing just doesn't work
. 30fps only, even though menus are 60fps

Wouldn't know. Haven't played it nor do I plsn to because Kamiya blocked me on Twitter

This game somehow feels short and long at the same time, I don't understand it and I'm too tired to word it better.

You clearly deserved to be blocked.

>Issun guides the player a little too much
If only you saw the twitch streams.
The moment Issun stops spoonfeeding them, they can't do anything right anymore.

I know what you mean.
Its long because of everything that happened in-game,
But short because you want more of it.
The only people who complain about the length are those that haven't finished it

>being angry that Kamiya blocked you
He clearly does it just to do it, you fucking retard. Even if he didn't, you 100% deserved it.

One of the greatest games ever made period

There is no reason to not consider this an absolute masterpiece and perfection of the Zelda formula

Inb4 brainlets talk about muh length or some dumb shit
The game constantly introduced new enemies, regions, story elements, etc

some hot shit

lmao!

The Orochi fight is a mixed bag for me
Firstly, by design, its actually a pretty decent boss having you take advantage of all the powers you had accumulated till then.
The second fight with him being more of a victory lap of what you're capable of with newer and even greater powers, making it just a dick stroking moment rather than an actual combat moment.
The final fight was an overall victory lap and they threw pretty much every major "evil" boss at you, including the spider queen, who is easily the easiest of the bosses in the game, and that time they didn't even scale, so even Orochi shouldn't have taken more than 5 minutes to kill

making you fight Orochi 3 times was ass tho

The only bad thing about the game is a massive fucking amount of handholding you can't turn off.

I have never played any okami games. Should i simply emulate the ps2 version with pcsx2 or should i get the hd version? Can i make the ps2 version have a better resolution?

Okami is excellent and beats Zelda at its own game. The world is a blast to explore at all times, the combat is fun with a lot of neat hidden and combo moves along with the demon fangs to be obtained with specific final attacks, and every last power and treasure feels important and valuable.

pcsx2 version still has a broken celestial brush from the looks of it
just get the hd version

>5 minutes of gameplay
>10 minutes of cutscene
>rinse repeat

Does this end?

No that was fixed.

PS2 version is blurry no matter what resolution you set it to. Get the PC version, but if you want to use the controller you have to buy it.

By the time you finish the dungeon beside Shinshu field, which should be right after the tutorial "dungeon"

didn't have a problem first time but it was just a tedious fight for me. i never got hit by anything and it was a lot of waiting around. it was just not a fun fight and having to do it three times bugged me. not that it's a huge deal or anything since it's a small amount of time looking back.

EYOOOOOOO

...

It's weird how goofy the designs are that they only work with the abstract paint style. Any cleaner and pretty much everyone would be ugly as sin

The music is really good, but the series has no entities I want to have sex with besides Amaterasu I guess

Nigger it 19 dollars

Not even the tiddy priestess?

I got bored of the game on PS2, around the point where you learn how to draw vines.

I doubt I'll ever play it again. It wasn't fun.

It introduced Shintoism nip religion which is so foreign, so alien. It was a nice change of pace but a little to foreign for my liking.

amazing game, way too easy
even the bonus boss with all the dogs is easy as hell

its a good game but thats all to it really
i feel that people like to label everything they like nowadays as a "masterpiece or masterful" etc.. which is excessive

Okami has always been highly regarded as one of the better games made, like SOTC or OOT.

It's one of the few games that actually deserve those titles and considering its age, I don't see the problem

I loved it. Bought the wii version first, never got past the dojo thanks to the controls. Made me drop the game right there. I'm so happy I was able to get the HD version.
Okamiden, on the other hand, was underwhelming. I wish it had a better translation.

Hands down the greatest thing Clover ever did, though that's not saying much.

I can't imagine being so bad at video games you drop a game because you can't control it.

>he hasn't faced the wagglan
The controls on the wii were the hardest enemy for every game that had it.

>$60 should be 20
>$40 should be 10
>$20 should be $5

not that user but that is how i payscale

It's not that I couldn't control it, it's that the controls were frustrating. I feel like if the wagglan was all there was to it, I would be fine with the combat, but you had to TIME when you waggled, and a lot of times it wouldn't register. Sure I could beat enemies, but my autism wanted those cherry rankings. I couldn't handle it.

It was $60 on PS2 though, so I guess even by that payscale it matches up

But the controls were fine. More effective than controller for sure.

...

>draw everything like 10 times faster
>beads and glaive tactile feedback feels amazing

>drawing circles is a bitch
>"tactile" feedback

Do you live under a rock, there is a pc port and it's cheap as fuck.

If the ending is to be believed and all the drawings during the narrator talking about "the story so far" after every major boss is Issun as well, why does Issun draw himself so buff?

youtube.com/watch?v=cIMSq7nlXWI

Why WOULDN'T he?

fair enough

>another idiot comparing menu and game fps
>still hasn't comprehended that some games during that time have tied frames to the game logic making it impossible to unlock it without breaking shit

So, what proof do we have that Waka isn't evil, again?
>attacks the goddess of good for no reason
>mocks someone for crying over Himiko's death
>does literally nothing to protect the thousands of people being threatened by demons
>or to get the Ark working again
>he just sits back and watches Amaterasu get beaten up
>and whines that she's not doing it well enough
I'm convinced that sapling in Ryoshima Coast bloomed by itself, like the one on Shinshu's horizon. Waka was just taking credit.

Pirated it yesterday, spent half an hour to fix the fact that the controller isn't working, played for 30 mins and closed the game (it ran like shit).

Pirates blown the fuck out

The controller problem happens in the legit version too tho.

Then those games should've been left to that time

>>drawing circles is a bitch
Refer back to you being fucking terrible at video games.
>controller vibrates to quite literally give you feedback on your motion sensitive inputs
It's not a thing you get with a normal gamepad.
