I like BotW, but visually, why does it always seem to have this ugly white filter over it? I feel like the game could look so much better if it had a more vivid color scheme or didn't like weirdly white all the time. Why did they do that?

i dont know what you mean

It's a day time thing, the game just looks kind of washed out.

So you don't know how to calibrate your TV correctly?

I hate the way everything glows, the new monster hunter has this shitty effect too

You can mod out the fog filter and edit the color and all that shit on pcñ

It's just a profoundly ugly game. What do you expect when it has to run on hardware weaker than the PS3

>game isn't glowy/covered in filters
>modders add ENB bullshit out the ass
>game is glowy/covered in filters
>people complain and mod it out

explain this chew meme to me

People have different preferences dude

Its a fog filter to hide low quality distant models

Te hemos pillado Juan Carlos.

Actually, this pic still shows what OP is talking about.

For me it was mainly a contrast thing.

what is ps?

Do you turn the saturation on your TV all the way up too?

PlayStation
as always, Sony wins

Nintendo games are intentionally designed for children so as to appease the senses of their manchildren fanbase. Actual children prefer good looking games.

How does calibrating my TV change the fact that it looks like shit on my switch and my PC screen when I look at screenshots?

...

It's the standard response from nintenshills, screech and blame you for their shitty walking simulator's problems. Don't give them you's

oh noo, two short loading times, call the press.

>dat creamy smooth 12 fps

your brightness and gamma are wrong; get a tuner

I love how the xbro is always hidden in these images.

The game has visually impressive areas but those are typically the areas that drop you to 17 fps on the switch. As usual, Nintendo shoots themselves in the foot with a lack of power but it seems not to have affected the game's success. This is why emulation is a good option (though I still play it on my switch just because I'm a lazy asshole).

Photoshop.

No, I play on a decently calibrated monitor. If the bottom image is too saturated for you, I understand why BotW would look good by default.
