Will Sakura-chan save this game?

Will season 3 be the turning point for Street Fighter V? The patch notes seem to indicate a greater emphasis on the neutral game and tone down a lot of the stupid shit.

She sure will for me, only reason I'm coming back to SFV.

Why does sakura look so dumb, its like capcom doesnt have one fucking clue what people liked about this character.

I like her. Seems like a natural continuation of her character post-highschool.

For me she will. I never touched SFV but will now.

Then wear her included schoolgirl outfit.

No.

General opinion about the game is set, casuals don't care about SFV so this patch will at best make those who play now stick around longer. Really this patch is removing some dumb options (while making other characters like Abigail stupider) so that all you will do is dash and mash with little to really stop it. People who played it said the game feels mostly the same.

At best the returning characters will pull in a few people till they realised they were gutted and made more simple.

it will probably bring more people to the game and sell a little better than the first version of the game but it won't be able to bring back people who didnt like SF5 first version.

Most new players will most likely drop the game after a month or 2 anyways.

>The patch notes seem to indicate a greater emphasis on the neutral game and tone down a lot of the stupid shit.
It doesn't do that at all.

Also most characters people wanted were already in the game, I don't know why Sup Forums pretends that it's the roster people had an issue with.

The characters reveal of ae is what made me have hope in sfv again to begin with. Then seeing the vt2s and the "balance" changes made me realize that capcom is still retarded and that the game is still going to be trash, just slower trash. Not even slower in a good way either, like normals being more active or whiff punishable or matches not being over the second someone is cornered. Things are just slower in general with no real difference that makes changes worthwhile. Not to mention the trigger cancel nerf is just going to make certain vts way more effective than others and make resets even more common.

the game belongs in a garbage can and this redesign looks awful

No, theres not one ounce of tomboyness left in her and this trash outfit is definitely supposed to pander to overwatch players. Fuck capcom, fuck scrub fighter and fuck you

>e and sell a little better than the first version of the game
Never happens, there is always a trend downwards with each iteration. Plus in this case you don't even get everything and a cheaper standard copy gets the update as well.

AE isn't even on the disk, just download codes for S1&2

>gutted and made more simple
Sakura actually has more stuff than ever.

>complaining that this beautiful woman no longer looks like a boy

stopped the homosex

I play sfv a lot and the new v triggers are underwhelming from what I’ve seen. I haven’t seen the patch notes but I’m sure Alex will get nerfed again.

>we overwatch nao

Sad!

She's still being a street fighter user. That's pretty fucking tomboyish even if you don't take into account that her hair is still short, she's using a fighting style used almost exclusively by male characters, and is working at an arcade. The most girlish thing about her has always been her outfits.

Well,i suppose you are right, but it will have an actual arcade release in japan for what i heard so it might actually make capcom some money.

play ST

>I'm sure alex will get nerfed again
Right you are boyo. Not only is his vt2 only good for 2 uses, his normals are now even slower and he gets less damage and stun in general. Not to mention the universal nerf to command grabs and vt cancel combos ruin the only viable game plans he had left. Alex is officially fucking gone and deleted from the roster.

But if it makes you have any hope for further balancing, I'm sure it'll make you happier to know that ryu, fang, and juri were also nerfed.

why does Sup Forums cares, you couldn't play fighting games even if it was to save your internet

just admit you're going to fap and shitpost a month later about SFV

Wew, this statement is way too accurate then it should be

>why does Sup Forums cares, you couldn't play fighting games even if it was to save your internet
see me on ST fightcade

>Ryu
He’s been shit for a while, and that makes me sad because he was always my pocket character in previous games

>Fang
Capcom has no idea what kind of character he should be

>Juri
I thought her gimmick was fucked from the start

V is fundamentally flawed. It can never and will never be fixed

>The patch notes seem to indicate a greater emphasis on the neutral game and tone down a lot of the stupid shit.

Abigail buffs.

>someone criticizes this shitty game
>capcom shills only argument is "bbbbu...t your probably bad at it"

There are enough good players that confirmed its shit often enough too, even if you dont trust anonymous peoples opinion.

is sakura going to wear panties, bloomers or spats?

this is very important

All those characters are currently fucked which is why I'm furious why they're fucking them further along with alex. And yet at the same time laura, necalli, and cammy are getting even more buffs.

E. Honda when

>Kolin nerfs

True suffering.

Never, hopefully.

>Will Sakura-chan save this game
No, but don't worry, the new mayor of Metro City will. He won't make me drop Urien as my main though

The appeal of tomboys is not tough girl doing boy things, but that underneath the hobbies, the juxtaposition of the feminine girl side that shines through is super cute.

Look at her old sprites. She always seemed fairly girly.

This man gets it. Tomboys are pure, and need someone just to hold them after the fight.

No.

What will his v system be?

No. Capcom has showed they don't really care towards the game's success and don't really want it to be fixed and having finally functional elements like a good rollback netcode or better visuals.

What they're doing with AE is that they're pretty much illuding everybody that they're doing something by adding Arcade Mode, however people who care about that mode (casual players, mostly) already jumped ship and will likely never return when AE launches.

Many of the issues with the game that afflicted it since Day-1 are still there and what Capcom is doing is pretty much hiding all the issues under the rug, so people who don't really understand what's going on with SFV and they'll see the new version with Arcade Mode will have the illusion they fixed most of the issues even if they really didn't.

Personally I'm not excited for it. I felt like the game was very dumbed down and limited already and the leaked changes don't sound really encouraging either. I feel like they really don't care in making the game better, maybe because they already have their comfort zone made of tournament players who play that game for money and whales who'll buy every Chun-Li and Juri costumes.
