There's been no info on the FFVII remake. Is it canceled?

Probably not. But, it's not going to be good, you have to know that right? Like, I would love for it to be good, truly. It's just not going to be. They're going to strip the should from the game to make some cash, and it's going to work... But I'll die a bit inside.

I hope not. It would be the perfect way to finally kill that shitty meme game for good. I especially hope they properly give Cloud his "Whatever" catchphrase, just like in the Japanese original, so people who made fun of FF8 because the american translators decided to give Squall Cloud's japanese catchphrase (while Squall had no catchphrase at all originally) realize that FF7 is truly the ultimate cancer game of the jRPG genre.

Childhood idolize Tifa. Adulthood realizes Aerith is far better.

No, Aeris is such a Mary Sue. She was an okay character while she was alive, but after she died she became a god for absolutely no reason.

Since when did dead ancients gain the power to magically guide all lifestream to stop meteor? Why didn't Ifalana have the same power? Because Aeris is a Mary Sue, that's why

Her Mary Sueness was pushed even further in the compilation. All of the sudden she's curing cancer, banashing villains and fixing every conflict with her deus ex machina bullshit.

I was talking mainly about their characteristics and personality as women, not about the role they portray in the story. It's been too long since I last played Final Fantasy VII so there are a lot of things I don't remember. What I remember though, is that when I was younger I used to really like Tifa, perhaps even love her, seeing in her the ideal model for women, and because of that I also used to hate Aerith. Tifa was, in my eyes, pretty, strong, caring and full of personality, so I really grew fond of her. But as I grow up I started to see Aeris with other eyes, adulthood made me realize that a women like Aeris (docile, gentle, maidenlike and full of happiness everytime) is far more captivating than a woman like Tifa. Time made me see how better Aeris is than Tifa.

The main conflict I see between the two is the strong independent woman (Tifa) vs the housewife, maidenlike girly girl (Aeris). And I much prefer the latter.

>>Since when did dead ancients gain the power to magically guide all lifestream to stop meteor?
When she used the holy materia. You know right before she died.

They're two different types of women, both great in their own regard. Its okay to like either one.

>speed readers
Their personalities are the exact opposite. Stop judging them on their looks.

Holy =/= Lifestream

Aeris tried using Holy and it wasn't enough to stop Meteor. That's when she DEM the lifestream in the end.

While that is somewhat true I see it more like Aeris is the girl next door shy type while Tifa is the spunky childhood friend tomboy. Both are acceptable choices depending on taste.

Fuck off

It's the opposite, Tifa is the shy one, Aeris is the spunky one.

Yuffie is the only real choice.

Jesus, Yuffie is like a guy, how can anyone see her any other way? It's disgusting.

What does DEM mean?

True adulthood is realizing all the girls belong to Red

Deus ex Machina

>everyone getting their personalities mixed up

I thought people on Sup Forums not having played the games they shitpost about was just a meme, but I guess not

Everytime they talk about it or show gameplay and screenshots people complain, they say fuck it and start over. Cyberconnect was working on it so it could be both action or turn based, based on user preference and OG fans lost their shit so hard they canceled it and said they would work on it in hiouse

If you're talking about the ending of FF7, and think the lifestream coming to save the planet from meteor was because of some dead Aeris ghost/god, then you're a fucking retard and didn't pay attention to the story.
Yeah the Holy magic used by Aeris before she died began slowing meteor down, but it wasn't quite enough to stop meteor, but the lifestream coming in had nothing to do with Aeris at all, and was just what the planet does itself.
This was explained in the story by like Bugenhaggen or someone like that.
I forget.

SE want release episodic parts, but after hitman fail on episodic format, now want release full game, in theory KH3 this year, maybe 2019 or 2020.

Except we're not.

Oh and yeah it shows her face at the end of that, but that's only to reiterate that, without her summoning holy right before she died, the planet's attempt to stop meteor with the lifestream alone wouldn't have been enough to stop it, and the planet would have been destroyed. She saved the planet.
