I do this too. If there are multiple characters I need to name I give them a descriptive title or just number them off. E.g. in Final Fantasy my party was named 1, 2, 3, 4 and in Romancing saga 2 my final emperor was named Final.

But it's not because I care about "canon" or anything like that, I just have no imagination. I pick female corrin because her character design is far superior.

Considering Camilla is obviously bisexual, I don't see what it would matter. Also female Corrin is canon to Conquest, where Corrin is a massive pussy, so playing a female feels more fitting even if it means I miss out on the better girls.

Get a few bow knights for shurikenbreaker. Capture enemy units and bosses who have good, hard to get skills (ch.9 boss for example). Save one rescue staff for endgame.

Not really. I mean it's ok for the C-A rank, but as with most supports they don't transition well into the S-rank. A big part of this is that they are almost all written as gender neutral.

Haitaka has nearly identical growth rates with Oboro, Kumagera might be the best Oni Savage in the game, Gazzak has a fuck huge defense growth for a fighter and doesn't suffer in other areas for it, and Rallyman is Rallyman. A lot of the Paralogues bosses are strong as fuck too.

I only paired her up with Kreaton since she loves romance stories and is very sexualy frustated, so a handsome wolf man who is very strong is more than enough to set her off. And their support is very cute.

Unit inbalance is a staple of the franchise. Though everyone is usable in some shape or form, whether it be for support or a frontline unit.

You'd have to be purposefully gimping yourself if you're not using Xander, Camilla, Ryoma, or Takumi. Their weapons are just way too overpowered and their stats are really good too.

But those capturable units have their unique appeals too. Haitaka gives you a Spear Master on Conquest route and Rallyman is able to have every Rally so that makes him useful.
