I keep hearing that that Sword Art Online games are way more enjoyable than the actual anime itself, and that the Little Witch Academia game is also better than the TV anime and is closer to the movies in tone. But other than these cases, are there any more?
Xenoverse 2 did some Super arcs better than the anime/manga
Naruto ninja storm is pretty much the best example of this. It's not perfect, but its way more entertaining than the anime or the manga.

The festival arc is peak "everyone shots on Akko" but it's worth it at the end. And the second half gets really rough but has some diamonds like Diana's arc.
Anything being btfo is always great.

I hate SAO with all my heart but this is true, at least some of the games are good, like Hollow Fragment (even if the translation is absolute shit) but you also have bland shit like Lost Song.
Which ones do you recommend the most? Don't they have pretty bad translations?

Has anyone played the demo? I can't figure out how to progress through it and get to the actual combat. There's like 3 floors of Nova Luna to explore but what triggers game progress? There was a magic orb on the third floor but it didn't do anything.
