Oh look it's the same stable for the 10th time!

Oh look it's the same stable for the 10th time!
I hope there is another test of strength shrine nearby to break all my weapons!

...

*drops rock in its head*

augh

u mad lol

Me too

Is there any way to get the master sword early or do i have to grind shrines for hearts?

Yellow hearts

Nope, gotta do 40 fucking Shrines

yellow hearts don't count iirc

there’s a guy who can swap your upgrades but i forget where he is

I thought those don't count

SEETHING

Sounds like you're just bad or something.

I really like it, it's back to basics like back to zelda 1 and 2 and a really good base to build on for for sequels with more typical zelda progression

You need yo have 10 hearts, 40 spirit orbs. If you've already invested your spirit orbs in stamina, you can go to the cursed goddess statue in Hateno Village and trade your stamina upgrades for heart containers.

>to break all my weapons!

You don't use the weapons you have on enemies that will give you the same weapon? That way even if it does break you'll replace it with the same one. Tell me you've figured this really basic thing out.

They just forgot all different items to use and the durable weapons.

>test of strength shrine nearby to break all my weapons
wow, you fucking suck.

Not enough people complain about the stables, they were lazy as fuck. Damn near indistinguishable from each other.

>climbing all stables in vain because the first one encountered had a korok up there

>TEN (10) months since BOTW came out and people are still mad

Delicious.

he's in hateno next to a little pond

Most mad people are disappointed fans.

>Oh look it's the same stable for the 10th time!

Yet another reason why no one can do Open World better than Rockstar, nothing on their maps feel like they copy and paste shit

How do I grind rupees for the house side quest? I could sell some ores I guess but I don’t know if they’re needed for upgrades and shit

lol

Hunt moose and rhinos in the Tabantha snowfield, pick up a shitload of prime meat and gourmet meat. Cook 5 at a time into meat skewers at the nearby stable, sell them to Beedle for 500 rupees each.

Its nothing like Zelda 1 or especially Zelda 2.

Completing each divine beast gets you a heart cpntainer. Otherwise shrines are the only way.

It's nothing like Zelda 1 and 2

He's not wrong.

There's one which has a mini quest to climb on top of it.

better to have less items that get plenty of use to more items that are only used a couple of times outside of their own dungeons

lmao nintenbros

Brainlets should not be allowed to comment on durability systems

...

Don't worry guys, I've got this.

Is there a way to mod the game so I start with OoT Link's gear at the beginning of the game?

Ore is easy to farm, don't hesitate to sell common ones.
There are several minigames, but they all are boring and pay like 300 max.

Did you know, this picture autoupdates the moment Sup Forums has spent an entire minute without crying over BotW?

>lol I posted it again xD TRIGGERED!!!!! HEHEHEHEHE

I just used a save editor to set my weapon durability to 9999999 on everything. It makes the game way more enjoyable.

They don't. I tried. They don't show up when you're pulling the sword out.

I'm not sure that's better at all.

There is a bowling mini game east of the tower in the snow area in the north west where you get a golden rupee for a strike. A strike is quite easy, pick up the ball and stand on the visual line between the NPC and the first pin and throw, you should get a strike most the time.

nah the idea is that everything is disposable
it is on a macro design level
you can argue over anything if you condense your point to a single thing to deflect criticism...

Cemu?

it literally is

>HAHA ITS NOT LEGITIMATE COMPLAINTS IF HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ARE BITCHING ABOUT THE GAMES FLAWS

I have no horse in this race either way, as I dropped Zelda years ago, but seriously whenever I lurk these threads the defenders of BOTW are far more cancerous than the detractors.

Anytime a legitimate problem with the game is brought up, it's always some shitty meme image, a non argument, or shitposting. The fact that you cancerous faggots had to make a image to damage control complaints is proof of this.

Yep. There's a couple save editors available. I'm phoneposting right now so I don't have a link, but they're easy to find.

>find fairy
>just edit materials and upgrade everything in that moment on spot
>find last fairy
>wants 10k rupees
>only have like 2700
>edit myyself 12700 rupees
thank god for Cemu and this editor
imagine playing this ubisoft tower climb and collectibles simulator at 27fps and no editor as your usual nintentoddler does lmao

I think you meant to link to Ops post

But the fewer items are reduced to brittle sticks, shields and bows, and the paraglider. The only use they have is to break on some mobs head.

I'm jelly. At least I didn't pay for the game, I guess.

This is one of my biggest problems for the game, it can feel weirdly grindy. Seems like everyone just exploits the snow bowling game to get rich. Everyone brags how this game isn't your typical fetchquest open world but it feels that way a lot

How is it not? It's the reason why many people think Bloodborne is better than the souls games. There's less weapons but each weapon has more functional uses.

>But the fewer items are reduced to brittle sticks, shields and bows, and the paraglider. The only use they have is to break on some mobs head.

Why are you not including the runes? they're the most important items in the game

i prefer BB over Souls because its faster and the new dodge jump instead of rolling looks cooler
its also why DS3 is my favorite because its the closest to BB, even though DS1 probably the best

There is an online editor that can add items to your inventory. I used it to get the OoT gear and the fierce diety set.

If people actually made legitimate criticisms of the game rather than the same meme ones every time, maybe people would reply as such.

It's just that, a typical fetchquest open world with a zelda paint coat

I don't understand how people had any money troubles or needed to do snow bowling. There are enemies who drop piles of gems, sell them.

its basically just a downgraded open world ubisoft game but with more collectibles and a LOT LESS story missions
plus at one point around halfway the game becomes and feels like a chore instead of a fun game

For some reason this game just doesn't feel like that much of an adventure to me. The only part that really felt cool was finding that weird merchant in the skull lake. But most of the game is just so boring, the world is always so exposed that there's no mystery to anything . It just feels like going from shrine to shrine, and the world has practically no organic temples or caves so there isn't much to explore yet another boring plateau. Very hard to feel a connection with this world.

The amount of time it takes Link to swing a weapon is ridiculously slow and this seriously ruins the combat.

Not only the same stable but the same shrines, the same towers, the same NPCs, the same enemies, the same bosses, the same weapons, the same korok seeds (put the apple in the basket).
I understand they had to meet deadlines but come on, if you can't fill such a big map with meaningful content then just make a smaller map!

Forgot those, you're right. Stasis, Magnet, Cryonis and Bombs count as four., though I mostly used one of these (Bombs). I don't think they are very practical at though, even Skyward Sword's tool, with the odd motion controls and all, felt more practical. Magnet is for clumsily levitating boxes and fitting them into holes or fail at hitting enemies, Cryonis is mostly a way to skip water and Stasis could be really cool if hitting objects didn't deplete durability.
I think my and others' main gripe is with the weapon system itself. Too samey and they break easily.

I'm thoroughly convinced the primary reason people live BOTW is because Todd cucked ua out of being able to climb that mountain years ago

because you barely use runes outside shrine puzzles

>hundreds

> better beat the hard challange with bombs only
i actually tried that. it took me 30 minutes but i had op weps and the first 2 blights were piss easy lol

After beating the game some time ago, I can say I don't feel like replaying it ever again.
Game wasn't all that bad, but it's a chore. It's not fun at all to find mostly Koroks and Aonuma Boxes, as well as breaking my glass weapons all the time.

Does anyone keep track of how many if these threads these autist create in a day? We should start keeping track.

I've counted three so far.

>Todd cucked us out of being able to climb that mountain years ago
Nope, I fucking climbed it anyway, jammed on the Y button until I was at the top of that motherfucker. Didn't even listen to those faggot Greybeards, I just jammed Y on up the side of the mountain, fuck their stupid tests. That pansy-ass dragon at the top didn't even have the stones to show, he was so impressed with my amazing button-mashing prowess.

>because you barely use runes outside shrine puzzles

>

>spend 20 minutes climbing up a mountain in BOTW
>it's another "put the apple in a basket" korok seed puzzle
thanks nintendo

>LEGITIMATE COMPLAINTS
Where? Do you also cry about Pokémon centers looking the same in every city?

>plus at one point around halfway the game becomes and feels like a chore instead of a fun game

This is EXACTLY what I experienced, it was around the second and third divine beast, I just got completely bored of the obvious game loops, empty spaces, anything remotely interesting is most probably a korok seed or a shrine (which turned into a legitimate chore by that point).
Reviewers praising it as a perfect masterpiece must have only played 10 hours or so of it. But I don't blame them, the first hours, especially the great plateau, are fantastic. After climbing the temple to talk to the king's ghost I was left thinking I'd find destroyed temples to climb into and explore from the inside, delving deeper into them to find treasures, nope just shrines.

>feel weirdly grindy
The game hands out materials like candy.

>all these filtered posts
yup it's a botw hate thread alright
keep up the good work shitposters

We are pissed at what they did to our beloved franchise and angry that nu-male and roastie reviewers still gave it good reviews despite obviously not playing the game in depth (if so at all).

It certainly does not hand out rupees or arrows like candy.

You forget these people need to create complaint threads multiple times a day so they can look smart and try and convince people why their autism is right and others are wrong. It's a pretty pitiful existence if you ask me.

>with bombs only
bro...
all you need is two weapons, a bow and a shield (a couple if you are too shit to perfect parry. to beat the Major tests of strength.

>we

>for some reason

For me it's because 99% of the content is optional. While I was playing, I knew that at any time I could just stop and go fight Ganon. Everything I was doing was basically humoring the game, content for the sake of content. Now if that content was 10/10 amazing then it would be acceptable, but for me it wasn't. Divine Beasts were too short and there were only four of them, world had way too much copypaste. Wind Waker has a very similar problem except at least in that case there was an actual main quest instead of a side quest that was called a "main quest".

Compare and contrast with the original Legend of Zelda where practically EVERYTHING you're doing is in service of the main quest. You have to do the first eight dungeons to fully unlock the ninth and reach Ganon. All the stuff you can find in the overworld exists either to access dungeons or make dungeons more manageable. The world is far more condensed than BotW's (obviously partly because of technical limitations but also because of the game's design philosophy). The dungeons scale based on their level, and the difficulty doesn't suddenly fall off after the early game. When people say that BotW is at all like LoZ, they're insulting LoZ.

Jesus this is exactly how I feel about it. Even a little before doing the second divine beast I was feeling this incredible boredom with the tedium and obivousness of it all

YA-HA-HA!

What are they trying to accomplish making the same post all the time user? I'm actually kind of curious. What spurs them to sit at their computer and repetitively do this? I find it fascinating.

Pokemon is an incredibly lazy franchise, so if we're being reduced to using it as a comparison to make Zelda look acceptable, there's a problem.

Sure it's the same, way to prove you're smart

We, the fans of Legend of Zelda who don't gobble down any shit thrown at us. Breath of the Wild is severily lacking and Nintendo will have no way of knowing this because people praise the brand regardless.

You can get new ones, autismo.

You're right about arrows which was great but killing enemies and selling the drops nets shitloads of rupees.

Holy shit
I'm arguing with literal retards here
>gee why do buildings that need to be recognizable from afar look the same?

I know right! this is TOTALLY how I felt about it too, bros! We insightful gamers sure do think alike!

at least Ubisoft gave us a game where you can explore shit

guess what you can do with those materials retard?

>having to cheat
>in a ZELDA game

nu-Sup Forums

Getting 10,000 rupees was easy. You get more than enough luminous stones that you trade for diamonds in Zora's Domain which you trade to the Gerudo who will give you 5,000 for 10 of them.

Pokemon centers have a completely logical reason to exist

The shrines are extremely contrived and just dumped onto the world because Nintendo didn't know what else to put on it. They obviously made up the lazy "sheikah built the shrines to test and prepare Link" lore reason afterwards to justify them existing.

Most enemy drops (battle shrine miniboss is a major exception) are worse than when you have readily available.
