Have you ever finished a game Sup Forums?
Have you ever finished a game Sup Forums?
I don't even play games.
In my younger days. Now I'm just too old and jaded and exhausted.
t. 21 yrs old
>get to final boss
>stop playing
>play next game
>get to final boss
>stop playing
I don't know why I do this.
LOL LOSS
Finished a large number of them.
Have you ever gotten 100% on a game Sup Forums?
Tried to 100% Psychonauts once.
Got every single figment, but still missed something.
Consoles can't combine faggot
Most recent game I completed was ECHO
playing mh4u right now waiting for quest complete screen to finish
Do the impossible
no, it's usually 102% or something like that.
See the invisible
row row
The picture on the wall lol
Oh fuck it's hitler
butt seriously the new one lacks soul
I 100% beat the first Mario Galaxy, Donkey Kong Country, Killer 7, No More Heroes 1 and 2, Super Mario RPG, and basically every game that doesn't go full autism with 100% collecting.
>Play ff7 back in the 90s
>Get to final boss
>Accidentally deleted saves
>Haven't touched the game since
>le references
>le retro consoles
picture is as reddit as they come
Last game i finished was A hat in time, felt good especially after the mediocre but fun gameplay that was Yooka-Laylee
You can't deal with closure. Leaving it there means you are effectively keeping the game going on forever.
On steam? Only 18.
Yep plenty of times. I try to beat every game I buy. If I paid my hard earned money for a game, I might as well try to and get all the way to the end. I mean, you don't buy a movie just to watch it until it's halfway done and then turn it off?
Now 100%ing a game is different thing. I only do this for games I really like.
plenty
when I was a kid.
i really should have got this during a winter sale. Shit. Nothing but backlog trash for a while.
I did this with DK Returns, I found the game so boring. I died at the boss and didn't feel like giving it another go.
The worst part was the world dedicated to the rocket/minecart levels.
29 here, I got into the same phase, I broke out of it by taking a break or forcing yourself not to think "I'll play up until X then I'll save and continue later."
Literally every souls game I played. The only one I managed to finish is Bloodborne, don’t know if that is good or bad.
I usually aim to finish a game before starting a new one in case of backlog inflation.
I beat Mother Russia Bleeds with a friend last night; gotta redo it for the good ending, though.
It's easy to beat a game when you're a kid or a teen and you have only 1 or two to play on a regular basis. But now with steam sales, amazon and everything (especially if you're a patient gamer) you can get overwhelmed with games and be unable to finish them from sheer amount of options to choose from.
Guess
For me to finish a game, it has to be excellent or pitifully short. There are too many interesting games and not enough time to play them all. Not to mention the majority of them are too padded.
I finished FFX 15 minutes ago.
XIII was better
If I ever do that, it's because I'll have fought but lost to the final boss, and because of that I'll feel like I've experienced everything the game has to offer and therefore don't need to bother beating it.
Though the only time I've ever done that was with Metal Gear Rising.
