>I ALWAYS play on the HIGHEST difficulty only and if you don't then you're a SOYBOY
I ALWAYS play on the HIGHEST difficulty only and if you don't then you're a SOYBOY
That's true statement
Why not just do it when you know you can or want a challenge, and both you, the cuck and them the loser both shut up?
What point are you even trying to pretend to make?
Do you even know? Or are you just stringing the latest Sup Forums memes together?
>Being bad at video games
Imagine being so pathetic you suck at one of the easiest things on earth. How fucked can a persons hand-eye coordination be?
I mean, I played some games at highest difficulty on my first playthrough and it was fairly easy. Some other autistic bullet hell games on the other hand...
Its ok, you shouldn't be ashamed of playing on easy OP, it's better for players like you.
>I'm mad as fuck about the term "soyboy" so I'm going to spam it ad nauseum so everyone else gets sick and tired of it and stops using a term that perfectly describes me and my pathetic ilk
>implying anyone who genuinely plays on the highest difficulty all the time would recommend doing so
It's rarely worth it
>play game
>most challenging difficulty only consists of tedium and cryptic bullshit
>make a thread about it on Sup Forums
>LOL GIT GUD
Fragile masculinity is the only masculinity that exists, because guess what, if you can't fake being a manly Adonis, chicks will not wet themselves over you. It's an existential fear of male genes. If you look weak, you can't protect your family. That's an out.
Then don't be born weak fgt
I'm a girl, and already married.
If you're so manly then just post your manmeat ok!
...
>if I add an adjective that I dislike to the word "masculinity", that will surely make men do my bidding for no reason whatseover
Ayyy
Place your bets on the next feminist buzzword, Sup Forums:
>creepy masculinity
>bigot masculinity
>smelly masculinity
>short masculinity
Artificial Masculinity
How does that deny what I said? Don't be born weak.
I don't always play on hardest, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't, depends on the game.
Things like FPS are always without fail too easy unless you put it on hard, but things like RPGs I'd say stick to normal unless you get into it and want to replay, you can do RPGs on hard playthrough #1 if you follow builds off the net but that's a bit lame.
not really on topic but it's funny how you hear people say playing on highest difficulty is 'the way the game was meant to be played' when 90% of games have absolute shit hard modes that make games more tedious than challenging
This or Perceived Masculinity.
No it isn't, in some games a higher difficulty just makes the game more boring or tedious.
The ideal is to start at normal, which is what the developers intended most players to select.
You realize I can be as weak as I want, right? I already won, with respects to reproduction.
Asian Masculinity
I play on highest difficulty (unless it's masocore shit like 1hit kills from everything) because I get bored of just steamrolling everything on normal.
Sorry you can't enjoy losing and bettering yourself as you go on, OP.
my what?
true but then certain games are more effective at a starting higher difficulty
Dead Space 2 was much more effective as a survival horror starting at zealot
If theres nightmare I always play on hard on my first time, because most of the time nightmare is bullshit for new players.
If there is only hard I pick hard.
Unless its a game I'm already accostumed to, like Ys, then I pick Nightmare.
Women have been shaming men to do what they want since the beginnings of time.
Do you remember that feather campaign to shame betas into going and fighting in the war? Lmao.
At the same time, when the enemy invades, they're very ready to give their pussies to them.
Higher difficulties really show how well or badly designed games are because you can just randomly mash your head into an enemy and drown in money/XO, medals and achivements.
I play on easy because why not, why would i want to get my ass kicked only to git gud and beat the enemy? the feeling of acomplishment doesn't live up to the hype
Most vidya have really shitty difficulty modes. It's often impossible to find the 'challenging but not tedious' difficulty. Maybe that's just me though.
Depends on what higher difficulties do. If it just turns everything into a damage sponge that takes forever to kill, you can bet I'm turning that shit down
This sounds like something they would say lol
If you're not a soyboy, why do you breathe air? You know that breathing is is something all soyboys do.
>implying all games are this shit
I find it boring if I'm able to just steamroll the game, so I put it on hard or nightmare, I mean fuck, if I think the game is badly balanced or I'm playing it only for the story I'll put it on easy too.
Like fucking Nier Automata, what a mess that game was, shit combat doesn't even begin to describe it.
marry me
t. shitter
If the devs didn't want you to play the hardest difficultly mainly, then they wouldn't have trophies/achievements based around beating it that way.
Not him but is that a jojo reference
>Implying most devs give a shit about trophies
>Implying trophies arent usually mandated by pubs and shoehorned in for the sake of it
They do, trophies on average extend gameplay times for games nearly 3 times.
For the sake of argument let's pretend you have data to back that up rather than pulling that number out of your loose rectum. Why do you think your statement addresses anything in my post or indicates most devs actually care about trophies?
Yeah, you're weak, we know.
>highest difficulty just gives enemies 500% extra hp and 200% extra damage
>gameplay is still easy so the game just takes 5x as long for no good reason
I normally do that, but sometimes the game is balanced for normal mode, like Breath of the Wild.
This game becomes boring when playing on hard mode.
Nothing wrong with playing a game on a lower difficulty because you can't get good enough, nor is there anything wrong with exclusively playing on harder ones and encouraging others to get good. What makes you wrong is when you go on to complain that the game is too easy when you only played on the lower difficulties, or when you blindside a game having poor difficulty scaling.
This only proves that today's society is so safe that anyone can 'win' if they try. But that's not what really constitutes a win. Being manly is not going to the gym so you can maintain your Adonis façade.
>I'm a girl, and already married.
We have a lot in common. We should meet.
>Always play on highest difficulty
>Give up if it's too hard instead of lowering it
A big part of games appeal to me is to surpass challenges.
The exception is when I feel like the AI is cheating, like in certain RTS games where they get more resources than you or fighting games where they read your inputs.
>he plays games that have difficulty settings
>he plays games that have any difficulty settings other than forced ironman with a single save that is overwritten every time you make even the simplest of actions
lmao
The only fragile thing here is your mental health sweetie.
yes, unless the highest difficulty is some bizarre challenge shit like 'everyhting dies in 1 hit and so do you' or 'you only have one life' then the highest difficulty is the superior way to experience the game
except for shooters, those are unbalanced as fuck
>highest difficulty is just everything has 10x more health
I dont bother with high difficulty if all it does is bloat numbers
>Pick high difficulty
>Instead of the enemy getting smarter/playing better, they just get given a fuckton of health relative to your attack power
>Game becomes monotonous crap facing hordes of sponges
>also breaks emersion since the badass are probably playing as becomes ineffectual as fuck
Yeah, because playing on easy and one shotting everything while taking next to no damage is the epitome of fun.
