What are some lewd HGames with surprisingly good game play?
I've been playing pic related, and it's pretty fun for a somewhat grindey dungeon crawler.
Also played a bit of Taima no Miko that some user made a thread about a while back. It felt like I was playing a lewd version of Lunar until I was stuck in an unending fight in which I was raped repeatedly yet could not die.
And then there's Huniepop, but I don't think I'd call that gameplay fun...

Its definitely not like Fire Emblem, except for different classes. I haven't played it in a year, but I think the total war comparison is correct. If nothing else you can watch the first part or two and see what you think of it.
It's closer to a turn based europa universalis, if that makes sense.

kamidori is one of those game where youll come for the porn and then stay for the game and the story since. full disclosure, the porn takes a long time to get to and its actually really off putting when it does happen. the game would have been better if you had the option not to sleep with just about every woman you come in contact with
I'm pretty sure that's the case with like 90% of H-games. More often than not it's just shoehorned in to make a shit game playable but when everything works out you can't even talk about it to normal people because it ends up being an h game.

Make no mistake, Kamidori has A LOT of porn. A lot of it is weird as hell too. I didn't even really enjoy the story past chapter 4. I have no idea how some people did 3 full playthroughs to get 100%. Absolute madmen.
