It says online if I pro ordered the physical collector's edition that I can get beta early but I can't figure out how.

for Revelator, the only characters not in the beta were the ones you unlocked for beating story mode

Why Krillin? I would personally switch him with Gotenks since Gotenks assist is amazing.

Why would they put all the characters in? This is Bandai Namco, not EA. They're not the kind of people to give you the whole game during a beta.

Always liked more underdog characters and always liked Buu and I think no one will play him so why not. Also always liked all of the three so the team looks good. Pic not related completely

Yeah, but at max you are getting 2 during a match with the possibility you heal the opponent. compared to Gotenks assist which locks the oponnent down. Rose assist is also great.

idk, being able to do a massive heal on a beefy character like nappa twice in a match seems pretty good to me. Also if you learn the pattern, it's very unlikely your opponent will get the heal.

Yes I know this. But how will they know I pre ordered a copy of the physical collectors edition? There was no code or anything to prove I pre ordered it.

Not sure, watching alot of the higher level gameplay so far it looks like the game is super offensive, so going a defensive guy seems like a waste.
What would you rather have:
Heal a quarter of your guys life
or
Deal half of the opponents health

They email the code to you when it's ready you big dumbo.

If Arcsys had it their way they might have done that, they did a special Rev 2 demo before the game launched that was essentially the full game minus some modes and it have everybody unlocked. All I'm hoping for in this demo is the damage scaling from recent builds, they mentioned wanting this game to be like, 2-3 combos to death for each character and that sounds good on paper. Super don't do shit damage after some hits anymore from the footage we've seen over the past few weeks.

In the beta I played Fat Buu/Krillin/16 in various orders. People are gonna sleep on the big boy Buu since the Kid looks like they've got some really dirty shit and a really good assist. Krillin will take some getting used to but with some of the assists in the game I can see myself consistently burning meter with a lockdown just to chip through enemies through destructo discs. 16 is the only grappler in the game and his self-destruct is the biggest fuck-you in the game, it's the most satisfying fucking thing to land; shame its so easy to dodge unless you get it during a beam super from the enemy.

When Ginyu body swaps an opponent and wins, does he still do his usual win animations and lines or does he use the opponent's?

It is tradition in GG and BB to let intros go since they are so well made, same with outros.
Personal favourite is Bedman win speeches.

Pretty sure those are longer than your normal intros and outros, meaning you have even more of a reason to skip them.

Anime game players don't skip shit dude, you're going to find people that won't skip shit online if you don't press a button. Though, some believe letting them go online lets your connection stabilize before you start fighting.

I imagine if Capcom still did unique intros people would probably let them play

Yup. It's been confirmed. Hoping it becomes the competitive mode over time in japan since they do teams for tournaments there anyways.

I'll say first, he is a fast character able to build meter quick that could be used for other characters with stronger supers.

Are people still trying to make a tier list out of what was shown and played? How scrubby can you be to tier whore before the game is even out?

I would say the problem with him being first is how many better first that there are, such as yamcha, gotenks and the SSBSS saiyans.

Mid for sure, his assist is godly for lockdown and he doesn't need too much meter, mostly just for EX mystic ball.

Not him, but Zamasu doesn't show up nearly as much as one would expect in Black's moves despite being the main villain of the arc, so me thinks he'll show up as Fused in the season pass.

From what I can tell Goku Black will definetely be the strongest character in the game and used in every pro team. His assist is amazing and his combos and damage, with his insane range, is just crazy.
Any one else feel this?

It's still too early to tell, but I think he will be at least top 5, considering how great all of his specials are, even if his supers are low damage.

He'll be the zero of the game. I am surprised his ki blast isn't his assist though. A delayed projectile like that would make him even better. Hope it changes in the final build.

Kid Buu exists and is half as tall.

Kid Buu isn't as good with his damage in general, and his combo game looks really weak.
Don't get me wrong I love Kid buu but I don't see him working in a competitive level, especially with his trash ass assist.

Yes they are in game, you can hear trunk' s theme in that yamcha combo video.

These trailers are so ridiculously short that their only use is to catch a glimpse of the music themes.

His assist locks you down in a ton of blockstun assist and he has Doom's upwards level one.

It's only his supers that are low damage. His actual normals and combos are great, with their range.

Are you serious? He's got twice as much utility as fat Buu and people speculate his assist might be one of the best in the game, who the fuck is saying it's trash? Pic related is a normal that can hit long range and has a follow up headbutt that closes an enormous amount of distance between you and your opponent. The second part of it isn't even necessary, you can just use the kick portion if you wanted. His 2M buries his foot into the ground and hits in front of you, popping the opponent into the air for a guaranteed followup with his special or for corner setups. That fucking arm ball assist move is a special as well that forces the opponent to either block for a solid 5 minutes or eat some eats, it's long enough for you to raw tag as Kid Buu into another character for a combo. Extinction super has the hitbox as he shoots like said. The flying super he has puts him at the end of the screen away from the opponent and puts him in the safest possible point of the screen. He has an air kamehameha that I'm sure you can tiger knee to get it out really low to the ground, further pushing his long-range game.

Kid Buu is going to be so fucking good and I'm upset my boy Majin Buu won't have half his utility. I'm sure he's changed since the beta though so maybe he'll have a bit more going for him in terms of attack properties.

Yes, i hope they use merge zamasu from the manga version.

Anyone thinks the pride trio could be good characters for the game? Specially if the 3 have synergy

Also I would have to see how fast and when the frames of that kick comes out.
Another thing is he has almost nothing to deal with pressure from what I can see, in this insanely pressure heavy game.
Also most pros are using majin buu, the fuck are you smoking, check any of the beta tournies they are using him.
