Pokemon design is shit now for a reason

the reason why you don't like newer pokemon designs as much as the old ones is because the eyes are shit. Pokemon had a "real creature" type feel but now that most have cartooney souless eyes the designs have taken a turn for the worse

Not only that but the silhouettes. Can pick any gen 1-2 and some 3 and 4 pokemon and can instantly recognize their silhouettes but the pokemon now. Their silhouettes are just blobs or overdeisgned spikey monstrosities . Who's that pokemon? I have no fucking idea.

You know this only happened to pokemon designs so it could be way easier to make merchandise of them. there is a reason why gen 1 pokemon merch looks so insanely derpy compared to the later gen merch, when every pokemon already looks like a toy without any detailed linework and with more simpler shapes and anatomy the kids in vietnam making the stuff don't have to put as much effort
