For Honor is a fucking mess of a competitive fighting game. Everything is reactable, so defense beats everything. Things that are basic features in competitive fighting games like "Mixups" and, "Unreactable moves" are "glitches" in For Honor. Also no dedicated servers at launch. Also, the devs have no fucking idea how to run a game like this. People have literally sent them videos of characters doing retardedly overpowered shit and the devs were like, "Wow! I've never seen this!" despite every single player having seen that in every single game they played for MONTHS.

They felt like a character that did horribly in 1v1s was balanced just because they had a high win rate in team based game modes.

They felt that a character with a literal 50/50 was perfectly balanced. Go fuck yourself.

Compared to others Ubisoft are fucking saints. uPlay gives actual DLC for achievement points compared to absolutely nothing on all other services. They took Assassin's Creed of the money teat for a year to make a better game. They fund experimental indies like Child of Light, Grow Home, Valiant Hearts etc. They're not afraid to publish risky stuff like South Park, Mario+Rabbids, Steep, Rayman Origins. They kept supporting dying titles like Rainbow Six and the Division which today are much better than at release. Their tentpole titles aren't built around microtransactions, they're there but you don't notice them if you ignore them.

I'd rather have 10x Ubisoft than one EA/Activision/Microsoft
