>Defeat the main villain at the beginning you're suppose to lose to, to unlock second half of game

>game has new game +
>all the weapons and armor you get from the previous playthrough become obsolete within two hours

Tell me One game, any genre, that wouldn't benefit from new game +

Rhythm game
Fighting game

>tfw replaying Wasteland 2 with my top tier operators
It was RAD brah

Indeed my good buddy, this is an annoying situation to find yourself in!

>start new game plus
>keep endgame stats
>youll need them because you have to play on a previously locked difficulty tier that rapes your character/s hard

Bethesda games.

>Game gets New Game + mode.
>It's fucking garbage where everything just has a higher level. No new items/bosses/enemies or mechanics.
Witcher 3 FREE DLC were such a fucking garbage content.

FF7
FF9
FF10

Monster hunter is pretty good even without ng+

>game has Marcille
>can’t face-fuck her

You get a higher tier of witcher gear though

>the one actual change makes the Manticore set look like shit
fucking W H Y

>Rhythm game
Rock band 3 campaign in new game plus would have been excellent.

What game user. This sounds Bae

>replaying long ass 60+ hours games with a huge focus on story
Why would anyone do this?
RPGs that lock content on the second playthrough can fuck right off.

t. games done quick crowd

Bravely Second

...

>Complete the game
>Don't unlock NG+
>You have to finish a bunch of mostly tedious requests to unlock it
Rune factory please, I just wanted to romance someone else

>new game +
>the greatest shite ever made

Why would you want to play the same game again?

>unlock ng+
>keep end game stats and gear from first play through
>enemies don't get any kind of buff in difficulty
>entire game and bosses are a cakewalk devoid of challenge

I'm curious - what mechanics does NG+ have to offer for you to play it?

>letting you choose what you keep
That's it for me, if it's a good game then I'd want to replay it anyway

Replay the game with certain unlockables/obtained items available from the start.
Such as replaying an action game while keeping all your mechanics like weapons or super modes available from the start.
Or an RPG having your gear/skills and/or party memebers kept over.

deus ex

- keep abilities/items/upgrades from the original playthrough
- new enemies (not just buffed ones, but new ones that behave differently and require more skill)
- a new quest or two
- different ending/modified ending

>new enemies
>new items
>carry over of abilities/unique items that allow for a different way of playing the game/experimentnig
>higher difficulty and challenge
>overall new/additional content that wouldn't make sense on first playthrough

I was pissed after finishing God Hand.
The game offers you new game +, but you have to rebuy all the moves you unlock.

I just want to freeball in the game. Experiment. Have the shit I unlocked and use it freely in new game +

Ive never read the manga this sexy elf girl is from bit the very sight of her visage arouses me. Is it worth checking her manga out?

Yes, dungeon meshi, it's great, now please fuck off with the off-topic.

I always ignore ng+ in RPG's because I enjoy the sense of progression you get over the course of the game starting from scratch desu

Are there any good lewds of this long eared freak?

But what about visiting supposedly low-level places with ng+ character and equipment? It was really fun to see how strong you became in Vagrant Story while blasting through the often tedious combat with overpowered gear.

You can go to lower level areas in a good amount of RPG's without having to switch to ng+, but yeah I get what you mean.

at least it's getting one for free this month

Is there any way to reduce the cost of Transmigration into Genius in Disgaea 1 for certain classes? Instead of 18,000 to 5,000

>new game+ makes sense in lore

>Dragon's Dogma
>There is one NPC that everyone says is crazy
>Talk to the barmaid, she says he used to be a scholar but went insane
>Talk to him, he speaks in rhyme
>Literally tells you the whole ending of the game and about NG+, and why it all makes sense
>He learned the truth about his universe, and it drove him mad
