AY YO IT'S MY BOY JUNKBOT
The original Lego Star Wars got me into Star Wars. Played battlefront 2 then watched Revenge of the Sith, then the original trilogy.
Is worlds on ps4 any good. I saw it for cheap and was considering picking it up.
Lego racers, the original creator game, and that one game where you walk around a hollywoodesque place doing quests
>Lego Island.
First game I ever played.
>Lego Star Wars 2 for the Game Boy Advanced
The game I had as a kid.
>Lego Indiana Jones for the Wii
The only friend I had in junior high let me borrow his copy.
Thanks for this thread, op. Brings good memories.
Holy fucking shit user, i've been looking for this game for years. Thank you so much
I owe my deep rooted city/base building obsession to this game.
Batman was always my favorite. Played through it to 100% completion over the course of a year and then got arkham asylum for my birthday
Lego Star Wars and Lego Star Wars II
played hundreds of hours with my pals when those two were released
Hell yeah my man. The fact that Episode 3 was an early spoiler from the movie was something.
A slimy slug has invaded your base!
Dats it mane.
Lego Island 2 is the goat, such an expansive open world.
Also there was a knight game but I forgot what it was called.
This. Also Junkbot.
>buy this game as a kid before I knew shit about computers or hardware
>parent's shitty 1994 computer can't run it
That was probably the moment I turned.
The only lego knight games I can think of is the chess one, and Creator: Knights Kingdom.
And lego battles, kinda.
[/spoiler]A landslide has occurred...A landslide has occurred... A landslide has occurred...
This game had no business being as good as it was.
F
My soul is weeping.
I have it on PC and played it through its development. I must say it was infinitely better in early access, as they completely changed the game from infinite world sandbox to focusing on quests and shit. The building is awful with a controller by the way
I wish I was still a child
i have the pc version lying around somewhere
>tfw that power up system where you could spam cheap items or save up and blow your load on a nuke
also post karts
I have 2 discs of it in my house somewhere, along with Lego Creator.
Anyone actually figure out of building your cart in a certain way actually effects weight and handling? I keep hearing dorks on youtube talk about it, but from my experience playing the games it doesn't actually seem to matter
lego island series
indiana jones/starwars games
flash games on lego.com
>that one game where you walk around a hollywoodesque place doing quests
i fucking remember that shit what was it called
Lego Backlot, I'm pretty sure.
I think it's bullshit. After years of playing it I've never noticed.
I could never find the copies of this that had the physical lego bonus in the box
Whenever I play a lego game I rush through the story so that I can collect everything in free-play.
I'm not the only one, am I?
W O R L D
B U I L D E R
the original fucking lego star wars game is the reason I still have a fondness for the prequels
Lego star wars II
if there's a difference it's small enough that i've never once noticed
which is the one with the fish called big bertha
iirc, heavier carts had higher max speeds and slower acceleration, and other way around for lighter carts
I can't remember how the weight affected the handling though
You can say that about everything LEGO, the games, the toys, bionicles, The movie...
I had all the lego Indiana Jones games for the DS.
I played that game religiously.
I wanna find it a play it again. Probably just get an emulator.
I played this on dial up back in the day
Fucking millenials...
...being nostalgic over a fucking lego (LEGO) "game"...
... fucking millenials...
...shit...
Fucking boomers...
Putting fucking ... (...) everywhere...
...shit...
Does anyone remember a few years ago for like 2009 or 2010 there was the lego ninja flash game that had the battle system for mega man battle network?
kino
>literally have sprites from battle network in the game
holy shit
... fuck ...
what was that one lego flash game that was essentially just an RTS? It was space themed and you could play as either the aliens or humans. loved that game back as a kid
Oh shit was it mars mission? I remember that one.
I remember that one too. It was part of the mars mission that was just a reboot of the old life on mars theme. There was also an infinite runner game as well.
Mars Mission: Crystalien Conflict
There is still a community for it actually, and they've made an update for it as well as hosting the original game. Now show me you can beat the santa level.
crystalien-redux.com
>the game has a modding community
hot damn. ty for this user
yw user, it's one of my favorites as well
Some of the special missions are brutal.
Lego batman the videogame
>Santa Level
I didn't want to be reminded
>found world builders on this site
>installed the patcher and shit
>game crashes after a few seconds of gameplay
just fuck my shit up senpai
Internet Explorer buddy, sometimes it's the only way.
Hohoho
>"What if we made LEGO Minecraft?"
>"Holy shit Johnson you're a genius."
>Proceeds to fuck it up massively
>Lego makes a minecraft rip-off
>When Minecraft is basically digital lego already
>and when actual LEGO Minecraft sets exist
Why couldn't lego and mojang just make a content pack together for minecraft like nintendo did.
>turn on all the cheats, including full map visibility, triple health and damage, etc.
>still lose like a bitch
Fucking impossible. I can't even find a video of someone else clearing it.
No voice acting
Simple levels
Hard minikits to collect
The perfect lego game in that time
I played this game a lot as a kid, and I have to say,
It sucks playing it as an adult, nostalgia blinded me to how shitty it actually is
What are some games that'd be fun LEGO-fied?
>Mount & Blade Warband
Probably be an improvement on the graphics
LANDSLIDE
>tfw staying up with 3 friends in a sleepover in my best friend's basement playing mario tennis and lego racers all night long, 1999 followed by a few rounds of mario party
All of these memories, lost like tears in rain...
Why did the Lego games add voiceacting? Ruined the whole charm.
REMEMBER ME?
me and the wife have been playing lego harry potter and jurassic park/world
fun stuff
>lego universe is dead
F U C K
U
C
K
yeah that's what I was using
>lego racers
my nigger, that was the tits. the music was amazing. still replay it at least twice a year. shame that it literally takes me an afternoon at this point
What was that LEGO browser game where you were running around in a film studio?
pure ludo
Huh, I can get it to work fine. Which IE version are you using?
Is it worth playing? I've had it on disk, but never played it though.
I think LOTR was the first game, not even Pirates had voice acting
Obviously the first Star Wars ones are A+, but the first Marvel Super Heroes makes me feel so bittersweet
>original story instead of ham-fisted movie tie-in/adaptation
>huge NYC hub
>x-men, avengers, FF, and some crazy deep-cut heroes all get equal love i.e. before the passive aggressive studio bullshit locked some franchises away
>only had a shitty notebook that couldn't run it
>died before I could get a new computer
backlot, read the thread
Backlot
>when the intro plays
fuck...
youtube.com
Rock Raiders was comfy, I loved to imagine the lives of the Raiders in their little, cozy, makeshift cities underground.
Also the first Lego Star Wars game basically captured the Prequels but with more heart and fun interactions
"version 11.2007.14393.0"
its not even really a game
>binge played it for like a month
>computer practically explodes in a fire caused by leaving the oven on
>didn't get a new one until THE DAY IT ENDED
J U S T
Takuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuua
Mine says something different (no 2007) but it's also IE11, I don't know what they changed.
Yeah, that was great too
But with Lego Avengers and star wars force awakens they dropped the ball and started doing unoriginal shit with VA taken from the fucking movie
Totally a punch in the face and made me lose hope from TT next games
I remember a flash game for the old model of lego mindstorms where you're on mars or something and you have to make rovers and stuff to look for supplies. That one probably stuck out the most to me
>Go to friends house
>Decide to play new Lego game, sure whatever, other ones were sort of for kids but whatever
>It's actually a fun adventure game with funny co-op and fuckton of characters
>comes out during RotS hype
What a time
I'll never forget lego rock raiders.
I still hope for a sequel or another one like it.
lego racers was the shit, I think I still got one of the racers game somewhere
