How do you quantify the qualities of a fanbase in order to make an objective comparison between two of them? There's always going to be vocal members of any community that are going to set a bad example for everyone else, but can you draw a link between a given piece of medium or series and an abnormally excessive number of "bad" people. That's not even considering you have to figure a metric for measuring who is a "good" member of a fanbase and improving it versus a "bad" member degrading it.

Basically what I'm saying is that this question and any serious answer is a gross oversimplification regardless of what fanbase your talking about. This kind of vapid question really degrades the general quality of discussion overall.

This is why waifufags are the worst and while appealing to them generates money, it also kills any hope of a good discussion.
