I want to play Isaac (Golden Sun), Krystal (Star Fox), and Quote (Cave Story) in a smash game that as a story mode campaign akin to Brawl's Subspace Emissary.

But I know I'm asking for too much.

But I was gerenerally happy with the Smash 4 roster, so ideally I want the next game to polish the gameplay and focus on deeper game modes with higher replay value.

Doom Guy for a Bethesda rep and maybe Bomberman. I don't expect Geno (would be pleasantly surprised though if he makes it), and Decidueye will probably be replaced with a Switch generation 'mon as advertisement for the new Pokemon game. And I'm genuinely not sure who they'll pick from ARMS. I want to agree but something tells me it'd be Ribbon Girl. Maybe they can be alts? Haven't played ARMS yet so I don't know.

Going off the revamps, I really hope Mario and Link get an assload of new alternate costumes for the next game, semi-port of 4 or otherwise new game, either way I want the alternates.

Isaac is in this awkward position in that he's from a dead series and Sakurai never thought he was relevant enough to get in.

Nah, Fludd is overkill as a gimping tool when mario already has a downwards traveling projectile and cape. It would be sensible to axe it.

Chances are if you bought a Switch within the first year you're already a core Nintendo fan, most Arms players likely played Smash long before Arms came out, frankly I'm not worried.
