DUDE

I played it

I am honestly surprised more than 2 people played this

Beat it, too.

I had it on PC and I also had it on GBC. Both games had an awesome OST:

greetings from germany

surprisingly high quality zelda clone. like it's fucking playmobil?

i played the shit out of that game when i was a kid. Didnt know how to beat the monk in the tower at first.

I still remember that puzzle from Observatory in Era II, then one you had to solve after fighting the wizard who summoned a circle of fire. Never figured out the logic of that puzzle, so I had to bruteforce the correct pattern of colored switches.
The entire game was great, though, especially with how you had to return to early eras even in later part of the game.

the running race pissed me off so bad

I recently played through this when I stumbled over it in my parent's basement (you can make it run on windows 7).

It unironically is a good game. The time traveling is ahead of its time.

>im-fucking-plying

...

that final fight was badass

Old Snake vs Ocelot

Man, I just remembered that dragonbro dies but give you one of best spells before doing so

sorry faggots

Replayed it a few years ago, I think I remember it.
I think the colors were tied to the colors of the planets in the observatory. Either biggest to smallest or something like that.

>time traveling is ahead of its time

This shit right here

actually tried to kill him with that in that webm, but he lived on a pixel.

...

This has the dumbest difficulty levels I've ever seen. There are 10 difficulties and each only increases enemy stats by x1.2

...

Came bundled with a '98 Packard Bell so there's probably plenty of people who have played it.

>fake lego bullshit
NIGGER DO YOU EVEN PLAYMOBIL

Last era was fucking nighmare fuel when I was a kid.
The standard soldiers of the last era are literally the hardest fights in the game and everything that was once comfy is now swarming with those assholes.
>that bandit village that was perfectly calm in the other eras but now is swarming with fucking elite archers and halberdiers

I played some wacky shit on the ds

settlers?

...

Holy shit what game is this?? I remember it

>nuthin personnel
>kid

Beasts and Bumpkins

woah wait isnt this Spooky Castle, the guy with the hammers or w/e

The entire game had some real moments of nightmare fuel.
Like when you had to collect all flags, and in one small abbey pictured soldiers came out of paintings and started to kick your ass hard
Or when you rescue a sorceror in Era II, see him in Era III helping the king of Era IV, and then in Era IV he turns evil and goes full mecha-wizard with some weird shit instead of head

I never, ever see it mentioned

loved this game but i couldnt get past the omnidroid

I PLAYED IT BUT I GOT STUCK AT THE MIRROR SHADOW FIGHT

Truly the LOtR of video games.

Little Nicky for Gameboy Color

Eh, it didn't live up to the hype.

This was a demo that was limited to 10 large dungeon floors, I plunged a lot of hours into it, and it becomes way more difficult after a some floors, it was a lot of grinding to get the stat increasing tomes or books, and dying could make you lose points. I'm not sure if anyone bought the full version as it was unlikely to reach the end of the demo.

This one here

>tfw had this game
>tfw just skipped through the game with cheats

...

step up your game famalam

So I don't actually know if anyone else has played it. I've tried to describe this game to other people and they've looked like I'm insane.

shit forgot pic

Was Pac-man or Hey You! Pikachu a more grump uncooperative cunt?

This shit was an important part of my childhood and I'm glad to hear from this thread that it's not just nostalgia that makes it great. Unless you've all got your nostalgia goggles on I suppose.

Kino

>Age of Empires on Nintendo DS
What?
>It's actually Age of Mythology
How? Why?
>THQ
Wha-
>Licensed by Nintendo?
Huh?

wtf i was about to post Spooky Castle

I can't get over the combat in this one.

Kya

I played it too, one of my favorite games of my childhood. The game had brilliant atmosphere.

...

>nostalgia goggles
Well obviously. The game is old as balls, the graphics are PS1 era 3D graphics, the controls are from a time before strafing became mandatory, before dual analog sticks and before keyboard and mouse controls.
Still, the game was genuinely well made for its time, had quite some charm and several fun set-pieces and boss fights. Considering it was just some shitty toy tie-in it's actually completely amazing the way it turned out.
If you were ever considering revisiting it, you don't really have to be afraid.
