>that historic moment when japan decided to port all their games to PC and made the platform unstoppable Honestly, at that point there was no reason to own anything else except if you are insatiable for video games.
Why do you still buy consoles just for the 2-3 additional games they provide?
Samuel Diaz
I like being able to play games at the same time as my friends and not waiting 10 months or more for a port.
Gabriel Taylor
Just wanting to play the newest games as soon as possible couldn't describe the immaturity of console fags better.
Kayden Hughes
Ah yes, all those bare-bones ports which don't even work acceptably half the time without user intervention.
Austin Parker
In the end in 99% of cases they still work better than the console version so I don't get this argument.
Justin Campbell
>bare-bones You mean the definitive versions like GTAV, with the best EVERYTHING + exclusive features? Or all those JRPGs with ALL their bonus DLC available from the get-go?
Just admit it, you're just buttmad that more people get to play "your" games, potentially in far superior form.
>inb4 obligatory Batham Arkshit port reminder
Owen Sanchez
>Honestly yeah honestly, why are you making me do this ?
Benjamin Adams
Sup Forums's GOTY Nier Automata is still a dice roll if it runs perfectly or runs worse than PS4.
Were you not around when Sonic Mania had a delay on PC?
Nathan Rogers
lmao
Eli Reed
>Sup Forums's GOTY Nier Automata Nier Automata is honestly one of the less named titles when it comes to GOTY 2017.
Leo Turner
>me like console >console simple >pc need brains, pc hard
Isaiah Torres
>its japanese so it must be good Sup Forums shit logic
Zachary Young
Is the joke here that the majority of the ports run like absolute shit?
Jaxon Watson
The joke is that they run much better than the console version despite the ports being shit.
David Kelly
2018's best looking multiplat games are skipping PC. (Besides MHW which is delayed all the way to Fall on PC). These aren't even exclusive games. The fucking Xbox One is getting them all too, day 1 ports. PCs are for literal cucks who like watching consolelords have fun on the newest games.
Eli Powell
>ported to Xbone >implying we're not getting PC versions as well >forgetting PC can literally now play Xbone games
Justin Brown
Console >put disc in >play game
PC >buy multiple parts that cost $1000 for a decent build >have to manually put together all the components >keyboard is uncomfortable and confusing since 95% of the buttons have no input on the game >you have to replace all your parts every 1.5 years as the graphics cards become worse over time and run worse >have to install a video game license rental service like Steam >have to play $60 for recently released games but have no benefits as physical copy >there are constant updates for games slowing down the chance of playing the game >games constantly crash and run into compatibility problems >Nvidia gimps their cards with Gameworks to make you buy their newer hardware >try to play some indie games but most are uninspired rip offs of older SNES games I played >try a early access to literally alpha test a game with barely any content and runs poorly >can't let my friends borrow my games without jumping though huge obsoletes and even then we can't play each others games if the other is playing a different game at the time >try to play older games from my childhood on N64 and PS2 emulators >try to plug in my controller to use for more comfortablility but it requires multiple drivers and constantly rebind the controls every time I switch games >download emulator for them but they take a while to get the right settings and even then the games run poorly and are missing textures and other graphical glitches >try to play older PC I heard from others but the run into compatibility problems and constantly crashes when tried to play >try to play a fun looking multiplayer game but the game is filled with hackers and childern and young teens constantly spouting memes >try to play split screen with my friends but hardly any games supports split screen and is a hassle to set up >start playing less and less and go on Sup Forums and shitpost more about games even ones I never even played
What is the point of PC gaming?
Ryder Perry
Because PC mostly gets bad games like nu-FF, nu-Atelier, nu-Tales, Neptunia, MvCI, etc. Also there's the fact that fighting games are vastly disliked by PC gamers and I have to play on consoles if I want to have an active community in anything other than Tekken and SF
Luis Ross
We will get PC versions of all of those except for KH3 maybe but Valkyrie Chronicles 4 will be shit so why even name it? Your taste is beyond shit.
Dominic Ward
>>forgetting PC can literally now play Xbone games That's not how it works. You won't be playing KH3 (for example) on PC on it's release day. Even with an Xbone version existing.
Chase Rodriguez
>Also there's the fact that fighting games are vastly disliked by PC gamers and I have to play on consoles if I want to have an active community in anything other than Tekken and SF Everything despite Tekken and SF is dead on consoles too.
Alexander Jenkins
>wanting to play kingdom hearts in the first place Yes let me throw more money at a franchise that has been milked to the point of no fun
Levi Harris
At what point did this happen exactly, because I haven't seen shit?
William Cooper
>w-well we will get ports 7 years after release! >a-and t-t-those games suck anyway! console peasants will never play amazing PC exclusives like...
Ryan Smith
imagine actually making this image lol
Leo Baker
It was an example. You won't be playing RDR2 on PC on it's release day because of an Xbone version, you won't be playing MHW on it's release day because of an Xbone version, etc. PC doesn't "play Xbone games". It's a crossbuy system with the Windows 10 store. There has to be a port built for the game and put on that store.
Oliver Phillips
i wasnt arguing against your point im just saying that kingdom hearts was a rather poor example to use. RDR2 was far better
Grayson Rivera
>PC exclusives don't count because they are not casual enough to have brainless fun with I will never ever even remotely understand how this troll argument exists to begin with. It just insults console players even further because PC provides the only non brainlet games in the entire industry. Every console exclusive is just turn your brain off for a couple of hours shit.
Asher Martin
>he thinks 2D flash ripoffs of SNES games take any amount of thought
HAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHA
Michael Gutierrez
>he sees the ability to release games easily for the PC platform as a weakness How can this be? I have never seen argumentation this one sided. Literally every word coming out of your mouth just further insults the intelligence of console players.
Austin Phillips
Console >put disc in >wait for update >...
Colton Rivera
PC gaming is such a meme. Developers don't care about you guys. You guys are an after though. Consoles come first to developers then you guys come last.
Aaron Johnson
hows the PC port of Metal Gear 2?
Oliver Brown
>insatiable for video games. >Why do you still buy consoles just for the 2-3 additional games Clearly I'm insatiable.
Joshua Ward
>Honestly, at that point there was no reason to own anything else
I don’t want to. Holy shit! Almoat like that is all that really matters! And consoles continue...
Elijah Gonzalez
Perfect emulation.
Landon Howard
>no first Nier >no Folklore >no Catherine >no The Darkness >no DMC HD in 2012, and it's announced after 6 fucking years for new gen and PC >no hatsune miku >no sengoku basara >no yakuza >no new fist of the north star game >no bloodborne >no some new shit that will be exclusive to consoles or that will be exclusive for quite some time While I do care about atleast 1080p and framerates, I still don't like to wait for shit So fuck off
Aaron Foster
console >put disc in >loud grinding noises >sigh and go buy another 60 dollar copy of the game you wanted to play
Julian Murphy
Shame I'm forced to pirate them all. No proper physical release, no buy.
Aaron Harris
Personally I buy consoles because I like having a physical game collection and a lot of PC games these days are download only.
