GG players and the /r/kappa redditors (that don't play it but pretend to) decided to have a laugh at capcom's defense after SFV flopped in return for how SF used to clown them when SF4 was hugely popular. Then the reddit people maybe took it a bit too far. This made /fgg/ and the other capcbros super mad and now the very mention of guilty gear sends them into apoplexy.

Here's the story: /fgg/ became a dumpster when SFV came out and it became swarmed with SFV kiddies.
All the truly good players like demonik, anakron, redblade, and piss left and created a skype chat which later became a discord. So all the good people are on this discord now which caused the only people remaining to be low rank casuals that only play SFV and hate other fighting games, waifu posters, and this autist guy that posts his bloody roar webms every day and makes these lists every day trying to evangelize people to play his dead shit game.
