All the champion characters were pretty bad. The 100 year gap was a mistake and made the story and cast feel too disconnected.

Fishfag here, I agree. Mipha's death was the only one that even had a small impact on the story and even then it would have made almost no difference if she was alive. Them being alive would have allowed for more interactions.

This game should’ve contained dual world/time period mechanic like some of it’s predecessors. I want to travel to pre-calamity Ganon era. That time period looked more interesting after seeing an intact Castle Town.

I don't understand it. I doubly don't understand how they're attractive in the first place, they're so comically top-heavy and have such tiny legs, especially Sidon with his mile-long torso.

I really wish we had a version of BotW with deeper lore and more interaction with characters. Imagine learning one reason Revali can't find peace is because in the end he really was just some warrior. By the 100 year mark he is mostly forgotten as a person (known only as the Rito Champion) whilst Link and the other champions are still well known.
