THIS IS FUCKING ANNOYING. IT IS SO FUCKING TEDIOUS
Shrine quest
nice false flag. you're probably going to make a post in a while explaining how the shrine quests are actually really good
Nope. They're also shit.
Careful the Zelda drones here won't take kindly to critics about their overrated game.
Agreed. So boring and monotonous
>buying a soych
your fault
Why couldn't they just be regular sidequests? Why did Nintendo force players to go through two loading screens just to get a spirit orb?
The ONLY reason that makes sense to me is that they wanted to brag about the number of shrines in the marketing. Treehouse went on and on about there being "over 100 shrines". If the shrines were cut down to only ones with actual quality content in them it would be a couple dozen, not 120.
It's a shit game duh
i thought i was the only one who hated the loading screens. holy shit this game has way too fucking many of them. i don't understand how, with virtually no interiors this game still feels more loady than elder scrolls
This. It's shitty game padding.
I was thinking about this earlier. The fucking combat shrines and the shrines that just gave the reward after the shrine quests should not have been shrines at all. It was a huge waste of time just going through loading screens just for an instanced instant reward.
I got you covered senpai.
I kind of miss when the secrets actually felt worthwhile. In Zelda 1, when they gave you a riddle about some secret hidden in a cave somewhere, it would often be a heart container or tons of rupees...or something unexpected. I think that was the fun, you never knew exactly what it would be.
In BotW, they just tell you straight up SHRINE QUEST. Which kills a lot of the excitement because the shrines are fucking boring and the game hands them out like candy.
/thread. See you sad chumps again in 10 minutes for the next desperate BotW hate thread
but OP actually makes a legit good point
if you only did the shrines with quests you would have enough orbs to get the master sword and beat the game. you dont beed stamina.
Well buckle up, that's all there is.
>inb4 someone tells you don't need to do all the shrines/korok seeds
>"Shrine quests exist" is a good point.
OP is a faggot, it took other people to express worthwhile issues.
No he's making the most retarded ducking point ever about side quests which are entirely OPTIONAL if he doesn't like them.
The combat shrines would have been really good if they'd instead just been ruins you wander into and come across a couple ruined guardians, which would let you know there's a live one in there. The first time you wander in and it jumps out you'd shit yourself and be on guard every time since. Way too many loading screens and shit though.
>Entirely optional
Expect not really if he wants to get good stamina and health to progress
>90% of Breath of the Soyboy's content is optional tedious garbage
Good to know the game is a waste of time. And here I was about to download it on Cemu.
Shrines are the worst idea that Nintendo has ever had. They are immersion killers and the sense of discovery fucking dies whenever you see one.
I wish quests would be more like "oh, there's this weird cave at this point" or "there's these abandoned ruins that can be checked out"
It's almost been a year and the best you guys can come up with is acting like your nitpicks are massive errors.
But there are already caves and ruins to check out. Do you really need an achievement ting for playing the game?
Once more Sup Forums is attempting to galvanise a whole new timeline into existence through the power of tears and salt.
I just did a quick Google search and guess what? Breath Of The Wild is STILL one of the greatest games of all time and drowning in an avalanche of awards. You didn't change anything.
Time to move on. Nintendo fucked you all sideways. They WON in the most spectacular fashion possible. Putting yourself through this pain every day isn't healthy. Let go.
>drowning in awards
So did TW3 and Sup Forums has no problem calling it shit. Oh I forgot. It's not called Zelda nor by Nintendo so its okay
This.
>mfw Sup Forums is still crying after....
what how long has it been at this point? 11 months? almost a whole year kek
The dungeons in linear zelda titles are massive centerpieces of gameplay and have been baby trash since OoT
If you can't make something good, and it's apparent nintendo can't make a single good dungeon design to save their lives as they failed over 20 times in a row, give it up and try something else that works
BotW is the best zelda after the original. the serie is overrated by nostalgiacucks especially around the N64 era for sure, but zelda has never been stellar in any given field other than the feeling of exploration in the original
SS was the game that made even nintendo realize "holy shit, what the fuck have we been doing these last 3 generations". Awful piece of shit.
hated loading screens too
i just dont understand why dont they make modular accessories where you can plug in an SSD and solve the garbage loading times on consoles
i must have spent two hours just going through loading screens in this game, that is a full playthrough of a small game.
SEETHING
>nitpicks
fundamental game flaws that utterly ruin the experience
the shrine quests are all great, nigger. what the fuck are you talking about?
>and Sup Forums has no problem calling it shit
But I see autists clamoring to it all the time and shitting on those who criticize it.
Do you do this every time someone criticizes Breath of the soy?
It's what they live for.
>it's optional so that makes it okay
The most bullshit argument ever. Everything in a game is open to criticism, regardless of whether or not it's mandatory. Also like 99% of BotW is optional since you can go straight to Ganon at any time after the Great Plateau.
More like
>main quest
>all the shrines
>the korok seeds
>sidequests
>enemy camps
>exploring around and finding shit
There's a reason people who actually play the game have 80-150 hours clocked into.
The fuck? Sup Forums agrees that it's the best ever
then don't do them
I own it and after 30 hours I just can't play it anymore. Its too boring
People seem to widely agree that TW3's combat leaves a lot to be desired and there's too many handholdy UI elements. And usually they can make these criticisms without autists going
>SEETHING
>SECONDS since Sup Forums last complained about The Witcher 3 smuggeralt.jpg
>MUH CRITICAL ACCLAIM
well that's cause we deal with Nintendo babies
does it count as padding if it's not required?
Because BotW fans feel like they have this weird duty to protect the game's reputation
>People seem to widely agree that TW3's combat leaves a lot to be desired
Fuck off, you faggots call it perfect all the time. You're not fooling anyone.
>main quest
Practically nonexistent and easy
>all that padded filler side shit
I don't play Zelda to do faggoty side quests, I play that shit for the dungeon gameplay and the story.
no
More like it's widely accepted faults and it's more like beating a dead horse and those threads die within 100 posts or so. The only reason BotW threads still exist is because people respond to criticism so fervently that depending on the time of day, it has a good chance of reaching 500 posts of 80 unique IPs arguing back and forth endlessly.
...
...
>>exploring around and finding shit
Such as...? Only cool thing to find was Kilton.
wow that is bad
Yep... No way this game is a 10/10. It's still really good but the amount of padding is ridiculous
Zelda was always annoying and tedious
>playing zelda for the story
Its the persons fault that they are boring and cant came up with creative ways to make the combat cool. There is so much environmental interaction that factors into it

Haha no. Are you kidding me. People have been posting the same witcher "combat" webms from 2015 for most witcher threads. You think you're getting bullied for having people criticize your game on Sup Forums or something?
>using that kind of weapon to stab
Why isn't he slashing with it? Is it just because nintendo is lazy and added a bunch of different models to a spear category?
Then what do you play Zelda for? 99% of the series is dungeons and going through a linear but satisfying basic story. Honestly, Im starting to think Botw faggots just dont like Zelda in general.
>Its the persons fault the combat is so boring
ftfy soyboy
>the witcher 3 combat is widely accepted to be shit
>same combat as botw
>being this deep in denial
every widely-liked game in Sup Forums has gotten their fair share of criticism whether the criticism itself is fair or otherwise.
rarely has a non-nintendo game has their fanbase making and posting obnoxious images like everytime someone is trying to point out the game's flaws.
>b-but you're supposed to make the combat more complex
nigga what
Here is why I posts in these threads: there is clearly a concerted effort to sway Sup Forums into thinking this game is flawed, and isn't worth the acclaim. I'm tired of seeing the same threads and points criticizing the game with really stupid, subjective arguments. It's clear that some people are trying to operate a campaign to turn the tide of opinion on BotW. We can't let this happen.
it is obvious they have not played the game, I have not seen a single objective criticism of this game, it's all just subjective and opinionated drivel. Not to mention they always utter blatant falsehoods like saying the world is empty or it doesn't have interesting things to explore. There is no reason why we should allow these people to just spew their bullshit and let them try to influence the consensus. This is something that we need to be on guard about because it we aren't careful, they will gradually sway the view of the game unnaturally, in a way that it doesn't deserve. The debate about this game should not be whether it is great, or shit; due to all of the critical acclaim and consensus, the debate should be whether it is a masterpiece or whether it is just really great. They can't be allowed to just shift the debate into a place where it doesn't belong.
>No charge attacks.
>No critical arrows to the face even with a cliff to jump off of.
>No Urbosa's Fury.
>No stasis.
>No fire/ice arrows to whittle down health.
You can just tell a witchernigger played this.
Brainlet should have frozen the lizard with an ice arrow and then either pushed it off a cliff or stasis-launched the TNT barrel into it.
TW3 has better combat than BotW and it's still meh
Im am so sick and tired of arguing about video games
BotW's combat feels so fucking slow and clunky that it actually makes me appreciate Witcher 3's combat
Please, take your autism pills and go get laid.
I can't tell if this is bait or not. Someone help.
Breath of the Soy isn't really working for me - it's not clever or even potentially offensive like soyboy. Maybe Breath of the Manchild.
yes
for all the different named weapons in the game there's only like 4 unique movesets
>we need to defend this poor game despite the game being flawless in every way and any criticisms towards it are "subjective and opinionated drivel"
Do you hear yourself talk? I hope I am replying to a copypasta tbqh.
I know how this feels
Take a break for a few days
Or just migrate to a different board for a little while
It helps
You know there comes a point where you try so hard to rip a game down that your criticisms begin to become just as dishonest as the shills you claim to hate. Not that you care.
>It's clear that some people are trying to operate a campaign to turn the tide of opinion on BotW. We can't let this happen.
take some pills and maybe see a psychiatrist
relax user
Shrine quest, explore, follow quest, fight dragon on mountain, look for more towers. I'm really just lost at this point.
>its the person they are bad
>instead of good players spamming royal claymore spin attack
>Im am
>I am so sick of doing one of the 3-4 things that this board is originally intended for
do you want to have a circlejerk 24/7? fuck off to reddit.
>mfw at 600 korok seeds
Almost there bros
The combat is deeply flawed, but spears are overpowered and LIzalfos are fucking shit and not fun to fight, which is sad because they used to be the best in past games. At least Moblins aren't as easily cheesed because of their super armor.
Im so worn out that I made a grammatical error. Sorry you got assblasted.
Shrine quests are repetitive, but the game is praiseworthy for its topographical map, new physics based magic, and return to the sense of adventuring that Zelda 1, and to some degree Link to the Past, had. The endless shrines were not a good replacement for the lack of story related dungeons, or even good ones. None of the divine beasts came close to the feeling of a temple from OoT.
I mean that webm shows a dude with full hearts/stamina who should almost certainly know how to kill shit faster than that, so it probably is done purposefully awful for shitposting fuel.
I am sorry for you too for getting exhausted from reading people fighting on the internet, you must lead a tough life, peace user.
I'm not even close and I'm at 100 hours
i hope this strain of autism isn't contagious
Why is it that every time a Nintensoyboy praises the game, it's always about the side content that's padded as hell as seen with the bajillion shrines and koroks seeds while ignoring the piss poor main quests with the disappointing divine beast dungeons, easy ganon bosses and joke of a final boss?
It's almost as if this game became the Skyrim of Zelda and not in a good way/
The game is boring after 120 hours
Now let's see a 5 vs 1 fight faggot and tell me it's shit
>urbosa fury
*equips 2h sword*
*hits all 5 in one swing
*framerate tanks*
tch...nothin personnel, kid...
>Now let's see a 5 vs 1 fight
So the fps can drop to below 20?
>that many hearts
>no dungeons completed
>white monsters spawned
hmm
>new physics based magic
I didn't like those. They feel too artificial.
You forogot all the other stuff
>bobokin camp
