I just got to her lair and I think I'm in an un-winnable situation. I got her down to zero health and it only took her 4 turns to regenerate to full. Meanwhile her sarcophagus has like 100HP and new enemies spawn in every other turn. I'm actually laughing at how absurd this is.
I just got to her lair and I think I'm in an un-winnable situation...
git gud
>bluescreen rounds on skirmisher
>fire at sacrophagus while every one else takes care of her and adds
wow that was easy
how bad is your squad? it's totally doable even on Legendary with a 2 turn regen
2 Reapers, one Spark robot and one medic. Did i screw up? I don't know how to increase my squad size.
you're an idiot dude
Guerilla tactics school. Yes you screwed up a bit
Guerilla tactics school, it's like super important
How the fuck do I get good at Xcom2?
I have absolutely no problems with Darkest Dungeon, who people say is more unfair with RNG, but XCom 2 is really kicking my ass with how limited the RNG mitigation is in early game, especially when Advent troops can sometimes 2-hit ko your guy. Is it really just camping your guys and hope the enemy runs into your overwatch killzone?
When do you unlock that? I'm pretty sure I haven't had the option to build it yet.
It's available as soon you finish building the proving grounds, which is like the first room you build. Just clear more alien debris.
You'll want to kill the enemy in one turn whenever possible. Stealth reapers makes the game easier. grenadiers are the most reliable soldiers and aren't reliant on RNG much. If your strategy relies on a 60% shot hitting then it's a bad strategy. Those are the tips I know. Also mimic beacon was OP when I played but dunno if it's nerfed
git gud
Early game is fucked up. Just savescum until late game when your entire team become gods.
hunker down
use it
use grenadiers to remove the cover and get 100% hit/100% crit with the rest of the squad, the goal is to kill everuthing in 1 turn instad of survinging enemy attacks like in DD, also a scouting with a Reaper is extremely useful to avoid activating unwanted enemies
They made it so that bluescreen no longer deals bonus damage to the sarcophagus.
this
most underrated action in the game
Guaranteed damage like grenades are infinitely valuable. You want to kill enemies as fast as possible - an enemy at 1HP will kill your dudes as fast as an enemy at 20HP.
Xcom 2 runs like complete fucking ass on my PC, even though it could run PUBG on Ultra just fine.
Is it because of the stupid mods? [I like my Raiden and stylish mods]
MSAA used to kill framerate at launch as I remember
>he played half the game with a 4-man squad
The expansion actually runs much smoother than the base game because they completely rebuilt the game behind the scenes.
