Only boss remaining is the Sunken Crew lvl 3. Just doing antiquarian runs until I get the quest that gives buff on the next Cove quest. Haven't activated Crimson Court yet. Previous 2 runs on base game version took me to lvl 3 bosses until I gave up because the tideous and overwhelming odds. I'm pretty confident but making sure it doesn't slip to overconfidence.

Vestal, Plague Doctor, Crusader, and HighwayMan.
Vestal's consistent heals early game are important. Later on you can switch to Occ for his unreliable but crazy heals (crit for 52 anyone?)

I just got tired of Leper fucking missing every time I needed him to hit something.
I also found it better to have a Hellion for her Flexibility in hitting from multiple positions.

Beginning is quite forgiving until you hit bosses. 2 frontline melee fighters, 1 healer and 1 debuff/bleed/blight dealer is pretty straight forward combo. Check heroes' all available skills and try to build skill set for 2 melee guys so that they could hit as many enemy positions as possible. In fights try to kill stress dealers first because physical damage is easier to heal than stress. It's ok to abandon quests if things go sour.

Do +Healing Trinkets affect Occulists's heal? Is it a fixed number?

They do affect his heal. I'm not aware of it being a fixed number but it sure helped mine as his heals jumped from 29 crits to 52 crits

Rework the macro game. Add basebuilding to the Hamlet. As you expand the hamlet you'll inevitably start to encroach on the different regions, which aggravates the monsters from those regions. The flavour text for quests might give something to build off of.

There really is no point in trying Stygian unless you want an achievement, the time and death limit feel tacked on and contradict the game's design, the fights only last slightly longer with no real added difficulty to them, and you get fuck all for it.
