>[Intelligence] He doesn't fight the good fight using his voice on GNR

>the bethestard fan will defend this by saying the writing is shit on purpose because it's supposed to be a simulation developed by the military, so it's also propaganda

but the thing is that the PC is completely aware he's in a simulation and is in complete control of what he says

It's irrelevant why the writing is shitty from an in-game perspective.

>[Charisma] China is gay, retard.

true, i was just saying why that bethesdatard argument falls flat

Of course it does.

why does a fallout game have to take itself seriously again?

It's dialog you get to pick from though. You can either choose to be a person immersed in the experience of the simulation, or someone who disregards this and accepts that he is merely playing a game. The game offers you these choices of the sort of PC you want to play through these clever options, which also cleverly makes a parallel with the sort of player that you yourself can be when playing a game.
They're only 2 lines of dialogue and yet they speak so much about what it means to play a videogame, and a player. And the more you look into it the deeper it gets. An Obsidian game would never be able to pull off commentary on this level.

...

Where's the humor in "kill you SO MUCH" other than sounding like a retard.

>[Failed] CHINA NUMBA ONE

ive never bothered with anchorage but couldnt that also be relevant to your int stat

Low INT runs are GOAT

It's sad it's not in F4 anymore.

Voiced protagonist killed it.

really makes you think

I love these few options that you do have in NV, but obviously they can only do so much when all NPCs are voiced
now F1/F2 is the real retard-kino

Why do people praise this dlc? It's basically a shitty, linear first-person shooter that has to try and hold itself up with Fallout 3's terrible gunplay.
It also ignores the RPG aspects of the game even more than the base game did and your reward is a bunch of OP loot that trivializes an already piss easy game.
What exactly was good about it?

Fallout 2 had the best voice acting.

>what? you mean the roleplaying game lets you roleplay????!!!

I've never seen anyone praise AA or Mothership Zeta, I think those are universally considered the worst.

The only fallout game I dislike more than 3 is 4, and I think that's a pretty fair argument.

for as much as i shit on fallout 3, this dialogue isn't even that bad once you take into account it's an american propaganda / training simulator.

EDGY CONTRARIAN 4CHANNERS

I've seen posts that say Anchorage is their favorite DLC, but the only reasons they give are that they like the winterized power armor look or enjoy being op in the stealth suit. Never anything about the other 99% of the content of the dlc.

You can't expect people with legit autism to pick up on subtle social cues like that.

Having access to the armory as a reward at the end after not being able to loot any of that crap DID feel pretty good, but the actual content itself is very lame IMO. I get what they were going for but the shooting mechanics in FO3 aren't good enough for it to stand on its own as a pure shooter.
