>One extra strength dose of Kinotheapy, Doc
>Say no more
One extra strength dose of Kinotheapy, Doc
Fucking kino...
you call that kino? Thats nothing, let me show you true ludokino
Not even remotely close to the perfection that is Bloodborne.
You asked for real Kino? Here you go
KINO !
The most pure kino moment in vidya
too blurry to be kino
You idiots are really ruining this
Explain this scene to a pleb like me
Just started fighting him yesterday. I honestly didn't find this scene to be kino. It felt like they were trying too hard.
Anyways how the fuck do you deal with his second phase?
>"Ah, you were at my side all along."
Is THIS the most kino Soulsborne moment?
that one witch fight in bloodborne was the worst boss fight of all time. if you disagree you are wrong
I mean it was a joke but there were worse fights in DaS2 easily.
>orphan is secretly running the world
>kos goes beyond time and space
>orphan is in contact with Bogdanoffs
>Rothschilds bow to orphan
Yes, Ludwig is simply the best moment in BB
For a brief moment, you get to see a key character in full force
Orphan's actor is Gehrman's actor.
DEEPEST LORE.
>Even unfinished content in this game is kino
Haven't played DaS2. I can't imagine a more tedious boss than the witch of hemwick fight.
>I can't imagine a more tedious boss than the witch of hemwick fight.
You say that, but many of the Dark Souls 2 bosses share similarities with that fight actually.
Oh sweet innocence.
Best theme, best fight, best cutscene
I feel like the Witches of Hemwick could've been an amazing fight if it wasn't so syrupy and slow. It just doesn't fit the whole style of the game and is too 'empty'.
Help me understand how Witches could have been great. I can't help but feel it was only one or two major design shifts from being a really cool encounter.
I think it's the second worst in Bloodborne, right after the Celestial Emissary. In terms of the whole series, Bed of Chaos is the worst boss. If we're not counting gimmick bosses, it's a tie between Celestial Emissary and Prowling Magus and Congregation.
The arena should have been a lot bigger and more maze-like.
No idea why but my personal favorite is still Vicar Amelia. I loved that whole fight, cutscene, environment. Really pulled off the whole "Big cathedral" thing nicely.
If the witches were less powerful but the mad ones were more powerful but slower than their normal run speed the fight could be a cool gank balancing match
DS2 is filled with tedious boss fights with multiple enemies at once.
>key character
Background nobody. Gehrman & the professor, Micolash were all more important.
Nope.
Nope.
The first half of the Ludwig fight is actually very similar to Amelia's
>Captcha: horse avenue
...How can you think the 'worst boss' is anything except Fool's Idol?
this is the worst post in history.
>Anyways how the fuck do you deal with his second phase?
i'm sorry. actual certifiable fucking retards probably can't do it
This was actually quite sad, to be honest.c
What's wrong with Fool's Idol? It's at least a cool concept that encourages exploration (killing the hollow so the boss doesn't keep getting resurrected). Mechanically pretty simple I'll give you, but the arena was cool, and the track that played was very odd and interesting to me.
Don't forget the fact that the Fool's Idol also really forced you to be aware of the arena itself due to all the traps.
Spoonfeed me. What is this "Kino" shit?
You guys might call me a fag but I seriously think Bloodborne is a masterpiece and one of the best games released within the past decade
Plus it was interesting in that you could keep the passive adds alive to activate the traps.
...
What the Christ is that!? I'm gonna have nightmares for sure.
Wow yeah what a controversial opinion.
Kino is a sort of Russian term for cinematography. When people say kino they mean cinematic but want to avoid the memes associated with calling a game cinematic. This we have any point where a game has a cool cutscene referred to as "kino"
This boss was easier than his adds
Kino is a cinematographic term referencing films made for the astute cinematographically-educated person. It's like a filmmaker's film, designed around elaborate notions and 4th-wall commentary on society itself.
Basically it's a pretentious way of saying something is too good for the audience, and which audiences/individuals will praise something unpraiseworthy for.
Just go research terms for films.
(film, flick, kino, ludo etc).
>shrieks at me a lot and hitboxes me to death several times
That's not kino.
>What the Christ is that!? I'm gonna have nightmares for sure.
Why are faggots calling these 5 second cutscenes kino? There's nothing particularly exceptional about any of these cutscenes that distinguishes this game from the likes of Demon's or Dark Souls. Is this just a byproduct of the PS4 meme and puffing up its few worthwhile exclusives.
AAAAAERRRHHHGH THIS IS TOO KINO FOR ME AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHH
Kinodom Hearts
>he will never fly with his buddy, again
It hurtsm
>Background nobody
AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH
it only took like 2 minutes.
Name a cuter boss. I dare you.
Most people who played Bloodborne think that
Almost every boss in DaS2 is more tedious than any boss in every other souls game
She's well designed and presented in a very atmospheric manner that gave me goosebumps, I just wish she had a cinematic or cool intro for when you first attack her. It felt lame to start a fight with a cosmic monster by poking her awake with BoM daggers.
Ancient Dragon is literally the most tedious boss to ever be released by Fromsoft. Not to even mention the run up to it in the original game. The sheer HP pool combined with the fact that all of the attacks oneshot you combine for a tedium test of unprecedented magnitude.
"kino" is the new "Epic for teh Win!"
It's more interesting to discover the monsters yourself, rather than have some 'epic' cutscene show them off.
It was an interesting experience finding her, I was just disappointed in her move set and and attacks. I went in feeling like I should be frenzied, attacked with mental stuns or something similar. Instead it was poke this giant alien and dodge her tentacle smashes and 1 or 2 magic ranged attacks.
Her second phase introduced a lot more magics. Her proximity damage, space lasers and frenzy blood vomit were all interesting.
She was a lot harder before I figured out you could just hug her side for an easy kill.
