Is there any other third person shooter that's even nearly as good as the Max Payne series?
Max Payne thread
kung fu mod for max payne was amazing also
MP3 is the best one. Unskippable short cutscenes don't stop it from having the best third person shooting in videogames sorry.
I would've been fine with this mod had it had custom levels and a new player model. Something about a hardboiled New York cop doing kung fu kicks and flips seemed retarded.
Mona the Assassin was the best mod.
Stranglehold
Here comes the MP3 babbies to ruin another thread about two great games
That's why I said "series". I love them all equally
Duke Nukem: Zero Hour.
I'm still waiting on a Max Payne 4 with Sam as the creative director/writer
How the fuck do I get 1 & 2 running on Win 10? (I know I'm a faggot help me)
Steam guides should have everything you need to know friend
and Alan Wake 2. and MAYBE Quantum Break 2.
The gameplay in QB was fun, but half of that game was walking around with the camera right over Jack's shoulder and bad platforming.
Uncharted 4 is better
I got Quantum Break on sale a couple weeks ago but ended up returning it because it ran like ass. I've never played Alan Wake though, is it worth playing?
>Duke Burger.
>More meat than your mouth can handle.
>is it worth playing?
The gameplay itself is enjoyable and the story is really good, but you'll really fall in love with it if you're a fan of Twin Peaks and The Twilight Zone.
I love Twilight Zone, I may have to pick it up soon
That's funny you mentioned that because Uncharted 2 is my second favorite next to Max Payne. It's also apparently Sam Lake's favorite video-game
You're going to have to buy a key from a key site or buy an old 360 copy because it was removed from all digital stores like Steam due to copyright on the music expiring. There's a part with David Bowie's Space Oddity, so I imagine it was that.
Unskippable cutscenes ruin the replay value and every time you get into the game it takes you out of it with some bullshit cutscene
The gunplay wasn't even that good, it was a meh cover shooter with a neat slomo mechanic
>based Lake as a kino taste in vidya (minus Skyrim)
This is good to know.
>with Sam as the creative director/writer
That's never going to happen. Not as long as Rockstar owns it. Dan Houser's ego wouldn't allow it.
Earth Defense Force
I think it's DRM free now? Check GOG
kinguin.net
Kinguin's got it. I might actually buy this now because it's so cheap
i remember playing max payne with a friend when we were like 10 nice times
Just pirate it.
this too.
It's not like Remedy is getting money for it anymore. But if you do like the first game, check out American Nightmare. It's not as good, but still a decent continuation.
MP3 ending was worth it. Just some fat bald dude walking down the beach
Let me dream user. I still have hope.
Vlad shoots an old man in the gut with a deagle instead of just shoving him off him, what a prick
Also, bump.
Where can I even buy this thing?
