While that's somewhat true I can still respect it for not going full power level wank, or at least it ended right when it started to. Half of the arc following the Dark Tournament was demonstrating that just raising your power level isn't enough to win every battle. The demon world stuff kinda flew in the face of that, but luckily it had the sense to end there.

It's only an OVA, likely just some non-canon spin off, not a new adaptation

somewhat relevant but in the legends movie the naito keeds had a third member, who looked like kai but with glasses and drove a red MR2. considering the naito keeds were only formidable opponents due to various modes of cheating (nakazato's substantially faster car and shingo's deliberate bumping) and kai's gimmick was jumping over corners, maybe kai was the third member of the night kids

Kuwabara is one of my favorite anime characters of all time. YYH may have not had the best lore or consistency but the characters were fantastic.

for YEARS there was hardly any hentai at all that wasn't yaoi. now it's mostly botan but there's a ton of it. hxh has a similar problem. i'm pretty sure bisky draws all the gon and killua yaoi.

I remember at least twice Kuwabara dies but not really. Once is against what's-his-face in the giant lava platform room. He uses a sacrifice attack to knock him into the lava but falls in himself... only to have it revealed as everyone mourns that his clothes got caught on something so he didn't fall in. And second was against Toguro to motivate Yusuke, but it turned out he survived.

Shout-out to his fight against Rando in Genkai's tournament, I don't remember if he was thought to be dead after that or not but I remember Yusuke getting worked up over it.

Yes, skills.
Generally they are skills that don't transfer over to anything except for other similar video games, and don't matter in the real world unless you're winning tournaments or something, but regardless, they are skills.

There were some straight doujins that have never been scanned that have existed for years. Not just with HxH, damn near every anime/shonen/seinen/etc. You'd have to be in the deep circles of doujin artists to really find some rare/uncommon stuff.

The manga has some interesting things the anime didn't but I found the anime to be a bit better. It went above and beyond the manga in a lot of parts and the english dub added a lot of characterization too.

I sort of agree. Playing by yourself it's a bit sloppy and extremely unbalanced.
The co-op is pretty damn fun, though. Some of the best in the genre, imo.
