Do you have a single Deus Ex thread to back that up?
Do you have a single Deus Ex thread to back that up?
No, no i dont
I played Deus Ex when I was a child. I want to try out the newer titles, should I replay the original? Are HR/MD connected to JC's story, or just the setting?
About to start Mankind Divided. First Deus Ex game. Don't know anything about the game except "I never asked for this McDonalds meal"
Original still holds up. Hell, some aspects are even better now. That said, outside of a couple of references and shout outs, not really required
Revision or GMDX? show your work
I've been messing with GMDX. It's rly fun. The new stealth system, like how enemies throw flares and shit at you is dope af. Also the guns don't feel like you're trying to shoot them underwater any more. It's almost like playing a new game.
why would you start with mankind divided
why would you do that
like at least start with human revolution
I thought that was the good one? It has the augmented guy that Sup Forums is gay for
MD is direct sequel to HR. Play that one first.
MD is literally unfinished and a sequel to HR which is the better of the two as an overall package by virtue of being complete.
Ohh shit i'm sorry
You've got ten seconds to beat it before I add you to the list of NSF casualties.
...
It's okay senpai. I haven't even played mankind divided. I've been talking about deus ex on Sup Forums for a decade and I'll let you in on a secret. This is a bad one.
I first played Deus Ex when I was suspended from school cuz a kid was bullying my friend and I got into a fight with him. It wasn't like I was some big hero either, I basically got him in a headlock and he punched me until he broke his hand. It was cool that I didn't have any injuries and he had a cast, but honestly it wasn't anything impressive. But the version of deus ex I played was the ps2 port I rented from a movie store
>start game up for the first time
>controls are smooth, gameplay is fun, voice acting and music is entertaining
what the fuck are these retarded posts about this game "aging" badly and having "clunky" controls? the game seems really nice so far.

People who couldn't get past Liberty Island.
What the fuck, guys, Mankind Divided is free on PS+ this month? Why isn't anyone talking about it!?
This game is fun, right? I heard it was a bit of a disappointment with the story but surely it still must be pretty fun and worth playing.
Liberty Island is the second worst part of the game
sea base is the 1st
>guys
Practice harder.
I don't get your joke, friend
Hong Kong is the peak but Area 51 is the worst.
This. I’ve down loaded it but haven’t booted it up yet. What am I in for?
Geometry is incredibly dated. Atmosphere too, NYC looking like plain 90s NY when its supposed to be the 2050s
It might be from people who played DX:HR first
Always found Silo to be the worst level. Feels so goddamn unfinished. You encounter Howard Strong and wonder why the fuck they didn't bother doing any characterization for him.
>Feels so goddamn unfinished.
So does the ending, where you pick from three options for a ten second cut scene. Really, the only positive thing I can say about the end is that you can get the "Oh, you're gonna burn alright." line.
Wanna tell me that NY in 2018 looks different from NY in the 90's?
>first game is about conspiracy theories
>second game is about transhumanism
I don't get it
Shut the hell up. Seabase was really good what's wrong with you.
