This whole new age of WW2 games is doa. Hell let Loose is gonna flop too, only game with a tiny chance to gather a little crowd is Post Scriptum, Tripwire gonna port RO2 assets to RS2 which should make a few people happy.

The game is aimed at people who liked CoD2 and promod. I have no idea who that trailer is supposed to be aimed at.

Noo they fucking weren't. Promod was trying to be CounterStrike by ripping out a ton of shit and very poorly trying to emulate CS variables.
They spent fucking months releasing patches that did nothing but tweak the AK74u's damage and range over and over so that it had a similar damage profile as the AK in CS1.6.
Meanwhile the rest of the guns (those that weren't simply like the 90% of content ProMod disabled) pretty much stayed as-is with the exception of removing the sight Idle from the ARs that had it, which was the only means of inaccuracy those guns had as their recoil was nil. As a result, the M4 and AK47 became laser beams and there was no reason to use anything else.

ProMod dumbed down the game to AKs and frag grenades, it was fucking awful.
ProMod was the worst fucking thing to happen to COD4. After it infested every organizer from the little guys to CAL, it killed the online competitive scene completely within months.
