There is skill involved in taking the fasted racing line and braking properly, especially with the higher cc karts.
Also, you can block red shells using bananas and other items.
Battle mode takes skill as well.
>braking
>in Mario Kart
Mk8 is a mix of skill and RNG. with the right amount of skill, it is possible to make a comeback from a really bad fall. That's why i like it. Anyone who says they always lose because of the RNG needs to man up and get good.
Battle mode in Deluxe is amazing.
The 200cc on some tracks need braking for the fastest time.

Online Battle mode is Teams-only, right?
Should have gotten good.
git gud lmao
literally git gud
its OK when 8D does it
>trailing items behind
>takes skill
Basic level shit
Skill is actually knowing the optimal path in a course and making tight corners.
This is unrewarded however and the only thing that is rewarded is that if you aren't first place.
>Mfw Metal Mario main
Morton and Dry Bowser always grinds my gears, especially if they're using the Wiggler with Rollers
I know your pain
I just started recently on Globals and I'm still stuck in early 2000's, and almost every fucking lobby I enter there's like 2 goddamn fucking Mortons. Seeing that shitty fucking koopa drives me up the fucking wall. I hope to god character selections are better in higher rankings.
Only if you're a shitter
>I hope to god character selections are better in higher rankings.
They're not.
>4 shells at a time
>1 banana to parry
No, MK8D is like 85% luck based.
>mfw im so far ahead 2 blue shells and 3 reds arent enough to stop me
Who thought blue shells were a good idea? It doesnt benefit the person in 7th place who gets them as an item and its impossible to avoid in 1st place
Too bad you'll get about 20 red.
Blue shells should either be completely removed OR should lock up and knock everyone down.
The only real problem is how hard the people in second and third get fucked compared to the person in first. The gap between first and second just widens as the race continues because of how many red shells there are. Meanwhile the person in first ends up so far ahead that blue shells dont matter
