They weren't that hard, once you learn the moveset it's a breeze. Nightmare king grimm on the other hand.
>defeat them
>mantis now bow to me instead of attacking
>kill them anyway
they were hard? I beat them on my second time
one of the easiest bosses in the game
really simple easy to avoid pattern
Lame game
Oh hey a-user

I like to make fights fair, thanks
Where does A Robot Named Fight fit into this?
take notes when you find doors/areas you can't reach with your current abilities, that will save you a lot of time backtracking
Shit Tier

>someone will reply to this bait
not really, take it easy and slow, there are many places to go if you get stuck on any boss
make sure the game plays at constant 60 fps because the way the engine works, missed frames cause it to miss your input
generally after you get double jump, head to the bottom of the map
>Terraria
every time.

I wonder how many times this has to be posted before people stop giving it (you)s
Oh it gets much worse than these three fucks. Hard game.

mayy still hurts, but beat him, is it cheese if I used sharp shadow in that fight?
what am I looking at?
>watcher knights are hard
I don't get this meme
There's literally nothing wrong with using sharp shadow
I'm not even sure the Knight is a has a dick, I mean it's made of pure void.
Watcher Knight is generally agreed upon to be one of the tougher fights in the game.
>inb4 i beat him first try git gud casul
You probably fought them late-game when you have more abilities and health.
ITT: a bunch of retards arguing over the difficulty of bosses which can be fought at different points in the game, with different nail levels, charms, and spells, and often with optional shortcuts (ex. chandelier).
well, it makes the fight half as long if you dodge all him moves by dashing through him and damaging at the same time.
a map
>shade cloak is optional
>the radiance
Guys, the phase with the platforms is the last one right? R-right?
Yes then she tries to escape and you hit her one more time
Second to last. She's easy though, take Hornet's advice and git gud.
There's a super easy phase right after it.
Which platforms?
>sits in your inventory
An area in a game that completly changes your movement system, suddenly there's no fucking gravity which occasionally returns so you can fall in the middle of your no-gravity jump.
The bad part is that touching almost any wall kills you and you have to do this whole shit again.
Pic related is steam achievement for beating this part.
Game's called Rain World.
Easy if you find the right route and don't act like a retard
Same with UD actually although that wouldn't be Fun
>dies on the thorns right before the tomb
Damn, I've never wanted to fuck a void creature before
They have a grand total of 2 attack patterns. If you have a lot of trouble against them, stop playing the game altogether.
you're so badass user
It's just well-intentioned advice. You won't have a lot of fun if you're already struggling against Mantis.
Why?
Because you're struggling what is essentially level 2-4 of SMB.
Why should that mean you won't have fun? C'mon, user.
The last time I played I remember being able to Alt-F4 as soon as you got hit and you would still have the flower when you got back in-game. Has this been fixed?
So far the only boss I've had any difficulties was Hornets second encounter
And I mean even that wasn't too bad
I encountered Watcher Knight(s) last time I played and managed to kill 4 of those cocksuckers unprepared for the fight and lost, haven't played since
How much damage does sharp shadow do? I was under the impression it was the damage of a normal attack (or maybe even less compared to an upgraded nail), which made the occasional dash through him a pittance when I primarily fight bosses with charge attacks.
1x nail damage
So weird. I had trouble with a lot of bosses, but never any Hornet. And I wasn't overprepared for her, either.
That's not particularly awe-inspiring.
With the dashmaster 1,5x nail damage
Yeah but I could just use quicknail to smash him five times.
That's cool, I didn't know about that.
Did they finally add custom map markers?
I wish some abilities were permanent and not charms, like the dashmaster and compass
>huge-ass complicated levels
>no map
Great fucking game. Uninstalled and deleted that shit after getting lost in the fist level for 90 minutes.

sad
it has a map, you mongoloid

A one-man fucking spree, that Corny.
>Nightmare king grimm
I still didn't complete the game because that fucker is so demotivating
>die in the Colosseum with over 100k
>go back to the arena for my body
>later only realize there is a special dead-body-room for your ghost and end up losing everything
I am still salty, haven't gone back to the game since. I truly do not understand why they keep moving your spirit, sometimes its in another room entirely.
the “defeating your ghost” mechanic really gets old after a while. it would be interesting if the strength of your spirit is tied to how much geo you died with
So, what should the player do if he gives up the colosseum challenge? You can only go into the arena when a challenge is active. You're a moron.
You can literally hear the ghost song from the room that you have to walk by before challenging the arena again. Also holy shit 100k? I 106% completed the game and had 39k in the end.
I only found it by chance. It's a little cryptic but the music still plays when you're outside the room so that should be a sign it's not in the arena. Don't worry about that geo, you'll never spend that much by the end anyway
This shit happened to me as well. It makes sense for the arena. Other areas can be a pain in the ass.
This would be cool, or if it had the same abilities as you. Double jump, dash, same charm effects, etc.
When you die on the cusp of victory and want your geo back, stopping into a room you've never been in doesn't seem normal. At that point, it was more about accumulating geo rather than having a goal in mind where to use it. Like souls in Dark Souls. When you start walking around with a million+ souls, you just want to keep going
Put your spirit back in an extremely more obvious room, maybe the room at the start where you pick the trial and a few other NPCs are there?
I was happy to see that the shade's health increases along with yours, but yeah, it's pretty simple. It would be harder to do, but tying the shade's aggression and ability to dodge to something (like geo) would be cool, it already uses your spells, it's just too dumb to do anything with them if it even lives long enough to start casting one.
Why would you have never been in that room? Do you frequently just ignore rooms? You have to go down past it to find the bench you rest at in the colosseum, and the entrance way is spewing out shadow energy after you die on top of the audio cue.
>Put your spirit back in an extremely more obvious room,
You spawn 5 meters next to it and the room is fucking glowing iirc.
In fact, you're more likely to crystal dash into the room by fucking accident, rather than completely ignoring it like a buffoon.
any reccs for someone who loved this game?
i tried SOTN but I think i’m too pleb for it cus i got BTFO
It does get some of your abilities, it gets the hadouken ability at least
>ahöpsanjou
what did she mean by this
Source for the love of void.
>Valdis Story and Salt and Sanctuary better than all that other shit below it
This list is garbage.
Just search her name on rule34
Yeah. I remember seeing it use that at one point, I was very surprised. The movement could've been better though. If it actually ran/dashed towards you or double/wall jumped. Instead of lazily floating towards your location. Probably would've been a pain in the ass to collect lost geo but the challenge would've been a bit fun.
