What kind of autistic moron rename their drives

How else are you supposed to tell them apart, user?

C drive is just C drive. All the others are what I use them for

Programs, Storage, and Backup

>Gridania
>Limsa Lominsa
>Uldah

nothing

>all these shitty low tier hardrives
you disgust me

gross

i have them as balthus, melchior and caspar. like the 3 wise men, but actually i named them after the computers in neon genesis.

How to learn russian

Most of them are named after Dark Souls bosses, scattered over like 4 different computers, plus a few USB drives.

...

>names have a biblical reference
>but they are also used in an anime
>picks the anime as source

>naming hard drives

What's the point? Is this what poorfags without a LAN do to make themselves feel l33t?

Jesus user you managed to hit me with a wave of nostalgia I forgot even existed

>The absolutely insane amounts of games, movies/tv and porn that was available on networks at even mid sized lans
>Searching around people's machines who had no idea they were visible on the network and finding all sorts of hilarious/creepy shit
>Putting hilarious shit on other peoples computers

Why did LANs have to die? I know they still exist but it's all try hard esport and assfaggots shit now

Study it.

Man... Nothing like going to computer science class and just playing counter strike the whole hour

They're both fantasy stories anyways

the fast one (120 GB SSD)
the fat one (1TB)
the fat 2 (1 TB)
Alpha fat (2TB)
old ps4 (500gb)

Boy gee golly! Thats a lot of space, say fellow Sup Forums-goer, you don't have any of the cheese pasta do you?

-Fellow Sup Forums.org user. Sup Forumstard for life

>240 terabytes

Jesus. The hell you going to do with that much space?
When will that become not that much space? I mean I remember buying my first gigabyte hard drive and going "HAHA I NOW HAVE UNLIMITED STORAGE SPACE"

how many books ?

>240 terabytes

I think you're going to have to learn how raid setups work.

Naw, I'm okay

Hello fellow Sup Forums user! Unfortunately I am unable turn physical objects into digital ones, otherwise I would've done it to myself a long time ago.

It's a 48TB Raw Raid 6 NAS

That entire share is the beginnings of my calibre library. Barely anything right now but I'll be importing stuff in bulk once I finish automating my flow.

What's it got to do with RAID? Those are mapped network locations. They all point to different directories on the same drive.

What's your internet like user

That 'drive' is actually all of them.

That has nothing to do with the way Windows is displaying the mapped network locations. Even if there was just a single physical drive instead of a RAID setup Windows is still going to populate the list in that manner.

What case even has 8 bays?
Are you running a seedbox?

I just have Alpha Beta Gamma Delta Epsilon etc.

the first four are in my actual pc and the 4 others i have in a mediasonic 4 bay enclosure. i’m incredibly unhappy with my storage rn tho and wish i had the money for a proper raid setup

I just got a new 500GB SSD that I'll get around to installing eventually, I hope my Windows 7 install disk doesn't sperg out when I go to try to install the OS on a different drive.

Patrician

and cyka blyat to you good sir

What is a "proper raid setup"? Been thinking about making a big drive array, but I dunno whether to put it in a custom desktop case, a server rack, or some under-the-desk box. Also USB vs NAS.

Was just waiting for the NGE reference that shows up as reliably as the codec sound in ringtone threads.

I don't get it
