Every type of emulator is "good enough", problem starts only when you actually played on the real console to notice how much the emulations fucks with graphics and sound.
DC emulators are not that bad compared to what shit some games may happen when emulating on PCSX2 for example.

So? Important thing is that the tech is there, just swap the buttons and pads from real controllers and you have a great Saturn pad for PC.

How would someone know how a PS2 game looked like to compare it emulated?
I replayed certain PS2 games emulated and there are tons of problems, mainly graphical ones but also many ones related to audio.
Pretty much the only near perfect emulator is mednafen for PS1, no reason to get so defensive when you don't know shit.

You're right, they are shit compared to 3D Saturn pad but it's still better then Xbox or Playstation pad.

VMU functionality might give it some nice features, but literally every other aspect of it is inferior to the DS1.
shit shape, shit buttons, shit bumpers, shit d-pad, decent analog.

Funny, because I hated that analog, rest was fine for me and DC pad did not have bumpers.
Only problem was if you had VMU and vibration pack the controller was a bit too heavy when playing for more then few hours.
Also PS1 had pocket station and supported similar amount of games as DC when it came down to mini-games and shit like that.

Dreamcast was the absolute worst controller. We used it because it was the only option to play Dreamcast games. I have no clue why you'd willingly subject yourself to it if you didn't have to.

A Saturn controller, though, seems like it might be interesting. Any idea if there is anything about the round one being available?

Although I still doubt it will be a thing, given that most controllers require a second thumbstick to work with games.
