Inb4 sales don't matter

Didn't we already have this yesterday?

they dont

like a Clock

Those were the ones from last week which were delayed

>Literally only two ps4 games on the top 20
>one of the is fucking CoD

Sales only matter if it’s Soyny

>that ps4 bump

sony's back baby

This legit fucks me off. PS4 ALWAYS takes the lead after Christmas yet this year it has to settle for 2nd place? Fuck off out of here.

...

Should MH:XX be considered a flop by japanese market standards?

Capcom already said that XX on Switch was a big success.

>tfw snipperclips is still selling
>tfw people behind the decline of video gaming flashes managed to make a good game

best timeline

>LTS
>Switch 3.566.794
>PS4 5.960.470
Before mid 2018 Switch will have outsold 4+ Years of PS4 in Japan

Holy fuck
Can we also say the Switch will check the 100k units worldwide mark faster than the ps4?

No, if they can't fix their supply problem
nintendoeverything.com/japan-seems-to-be-suffering-from-a-switch-software-shortage/

Worldwide sales matter.
Everything else doesn't.

SO GIVE US A FUKCING WESTERN RELEASE THEN AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

>software
I was talking about console units but whatever.

>give us a release that would get in the way of MHW

are you stupid user?

Switch is selling greatly in US and EU too. Do worldwide sales matter now?

NO DELETE THIS

Yes. Worldwide sales matter. You have yet to mention worldwide sales.

> MHW on switch
are you?

Yes
Stop being a fanboy
Competition is always good if a company keeps winning while everyone else is Dying and having their consoles failing the Winning company will get lazy and greedy
Also I'm not the guy you replied to

Why the fuck did everything have a huge jump in sales? Does this happen every year in the first week of January? What's the reason?

>13./16. [3DS] Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo (Nintendo) {2016.11.23} ) - 12.296 / 331.907
WHEN WILL THIS MADNESS END

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epiphany_(holiday)

I really wonder how Pocket Camp is performing in Japan. Too bad there aren't charts for mobile games.

Nothing in the charts explain why 50k more PS4's would sell this week.

What's that about?

Takahashi still going strong.

japs getting ready for mh?

Their financial report is coming up late this month I think

nintendoeverything.com/japan-seems-to-be-suffering-from-a-switch-software-shortage/

Why don't they just reroute Switches from Europe to Japan?

>18/20 games are on nintendo

Its over isnt it

>Despite the shortage, Switch games are still selling
Imagine if there was no shortage at all

Its a physical games shortage

appannie.com/en/apps/ios/top/japan/overall/iphone/

It's currently #96 on the top grossing chart

Reduce output of stuff in Europe, focus more on Japan, here in Europe, at least in the UK Switch stuff is just ignored.

where's hardware numbers?

That's fucking retarded

Pretty much this. The PS4 saw a surge in sales just before the last DQ was released.

>Minecraft PS Vita

>Xenoblade 158.628

Lol what flop.

>xenoblade 2 still in the top 20
GIVE ME XENOSAGA REMASTER.

Updated launch aligned weekly chart.

1 more week and it's selling faster than the Wii

And updated cumulative chart. As tracking for the PS3, Wii U, and standard size New 3DS end with the start of the new calendar year, Switch comfortably surpasses Wii U lifetime sales after coming up ever so slightly short in the previous week on Media Create.

>22./00. [3DS] Mario Kart 7 (Nintendo) {2011.12.01} - 7.978 / 2.795.559
what

You think Nintendo fucks around? These games sell forever.

Are there splatoon shortage somewhere else? I made 2 stores already and nothing on sales, seems like the christmas stocks is gone in many places

The 3DS is still kicking, at least for now. And it's more or less a law that you must buy Mario Kart when buying a nintendo system

There have been ongoing reports of Switch software shortages in Japan. Sounds pretty crazy.

Switch – 146,006 (134,519)
PlayStation 4 – 75,344 (37,175)
New 2DS LL – 28,237 (20,409)
PlayStation 4 Pro – 16,339 (12,456)
New 3DS LL – 12,246 (12,542)
PlayStation Vita – 11,929 (7,970)
2DS – 5,254 (3,700)
Xbox One – 190 (335)
Xbox One X – 9 (23)

nintendo wins baby

Yeah
The normal editions of most games are completely sold out everywhere in Japan, I don't think this ever happened before

Story of the week is Xbox One X reaching one digit in sales.

>402998182
>Xbox One X – 9 (23)
Not even X consoles sold, what the fuck

Xbox One IX

Why is zelda still selling?

Because switch is the king of japan

>Xbone still outselling XboneX now at 20 to one ratio
JUST

>18/20 are on Nintendo platforms

It's time for you to admit defeat, Sonygroes.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Switch sells 500,000 worldwide

What surprise me the most are the sales of Zelda, which are now almost certainly going to eclipse the sales of every previous Zelda game in Japan (worldwide too, but I'm not as surprised by that since Zelda is always a big hit in the west), Pokken DX, which just keeps selling and has already outdone the Wii U version, and Arms, which had actually disappeared for quite a while but has now comfortably secured a spot in the top 10 for some time. I wonder if it had a new marketing push.

>Nintendo makes Japan like competitive shooters and open world games in two generations
Amazing

*inhales*

I want to track down the people who bought it and ask them why

nintendoeverything.com/dragon-ball-xenoverse-2-sells-500000-copies-on-switch-worldwide

Can someone tell me why the other media create sales thread has different sales numbers from this one?

They are all american soldiers

Splatoon is honestly one of the most surprising success stories in Japanese gaming in recent memory. Two games in, the first of which on a dead system and the second on a new one with tons of growth potential still, and it's become Nintendo's best-selling franchise on Switch so far, beating Zelda, Mario and Mario Kart and it will likely only yield to mainline Pokémon. It's also reached Dragon Quest levels of popularity, but it actually has legs.

I guess there was Yokai Watch a couple years ago, but it burned out very quickly to "just" really good levels in typical Level-5 fashion.

Another surprising sucess was Kid Icarus Uprising. Despite also having tons of shooter elements, it ended up being a sucess there.

I hope this gets a follow up sometime

DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW?

The understanding has just begun
>this direct
Holy shit

Is that good or bad?

>TWO (2) (((((II))))) PS4 GAMES IN THE TOP 20
>ONE OF WHICH IS ~L I T E R A L L Y~ COD SHIT
>NINTENDO DOMINATES THE REST OF THE LIST

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

So 95 Million PS4s being sold doesn't mean shit?

Has Nintendo cracked the J-FPS code?

Resonance of Fate Switch hype

>20./00. [NSW] Super Bomberman R (Konami) {2017.03.03} - 8.856 / 129.036
he lives

>01./02. [NSW] Splatoon 2 # (Nintendo) {2017.07.21} - 130.901 / 1.882.997

It's very impressive.

daily reminder that this week is usually Sony Week, but Switch surpassed it

Switchbros coming through motherfucker

when will nintendo stop winning in jap land?
