>a 15-fucking-minute Direct
What the fuck? Did Nintendo finally give up?
>a 15-fucking-minute Direct
What the fuck? Did Nintendo finally give up?
This is just the tip to prepare for the deep-dicking Sony will get at E3
direct "MINI" you retard
here's your (you)
They literally blew their load
Yeah they did.
My dad says theres been big layoffs at nintendo
>this is all they have for the rest of the year
This is hilarious. I knew they blew their load when they released Zelda and Mario on the first year.
>Nintendo says they intend to keep up the pace of releases
>people think new game like zelda or mario every few months
>is ports
year of suffering
I kinda get where OP is coming from, though. They can just slap "Mini" on it and get away with no new game announcements besides Mario Tennis. If they announced "Stay tuned for the Direct next month!" at the end, it would be fine. But it's very possible we are getting absolutely no new game announcements until E3.
>metroid prime 4, bayonetta 3, SMT 5, octopath, mario tennis ace, kirby, pokemon switch
All this is coming out this year (as of now), so who cares if they throw in a few remakes along with that? Dark souls is coming out on everything anyway
This mini was crammed with games though, and I feel that during the more desperate times of the Wii U they would show just as many games but go more in depth on them to fill in the time. They could have (and arguably should have) gone in more depth on some of those games, or at least shown more trailers without a voice talking over it.
>dark souls
This game would be perfect on the switch
>doom ripoff
>wii u port
>i dont know what that game is
>octopath? more like shitopath.
>mario FUCKING TENNIS
>wii u kirby port
>pokemon rehash
wow real good games ninteniggers
>metroid prime 4, bayonetta 3, pokemon switch
yeah they won't come out till Q4 2019
>Q4 2019
dude
We haven't even seen a single ingame shot of any of those games.
Forget a release this year and hope they are spread out in 2019 and not delayed to 2020.
There wasn’t even a true Kirby game on Wii U. Try harder next time.
I never owned a WiiU.....in fact not many people who are currently Switch owners did. So I have no problem with games like DK and Hyrule Warriors being ported, because they'll be new experiences for me.
Pokemon games are always rushed. It’s coming this holiday and will probably do the best of any title this year
This direct is portable
Plug it into your dock for the full experience
Every Nintendo direct mini in the past was followed by an actual direct the next month though. Its pretty likely we will also get a direct next month.
pokemon gen 8 is 100% fall 2019, that much is obvious.
That's the nintendo cycle, they got pretty much nithing left to remaster from the wiiu and now are pretty much paying to announce multiplat titles first just like microsoft
>But it's very possible we are getting absolutely no new game announcements until E3.
How the fuck are they gonna announce a new game during a direct AND E3? Not having directs gives a better chance for E3 you brain dead shitposter.
>Direct mini
I mean they at least are adding to them you get the 3ds content without a shitty frame rate and atrocious image quality and the other adds a new playable character so decent effort and I'm sure donkey Kong may have other stuff
They could have shit out a smash port and everyone would be happy.
They've had mini directs before.
>Metroid and Bayo 3
There has been zero proof either of those titles are coming out this year.
Nice bait bro
There wasn't even a kirby game on the wii u you brainlet
We're getting at least one if not all of them this year, Nintendo barely shows shit for big games until it releases. What else do you think we're getting later this year if not one or even all of those?
>IQ of average sonybro
Yoshi, Octopath and something like Wario Ware that comes out of nowhere.
I learned to not be optimistic with these things.
>b-but Sony
Are all Nintendorks tsundere for Sony?
>2019
It will be this year user, everything points to that.
I mean the anime finished the sm plot is going now into the necrozma stuff, and they haven´t enough shit to fill 1 3/4 years with it.
>doom ripoff
That's how you spot a so(y)nigger
>15 minutes of Nintendo Direct had more news than the entire Playstation Experience
>Hating on Mario Tennis
Has Sup Forums taste really gone this bad
They have nothing for the first half of 2018
What a mediocre showing. No wonder why they used memes to get atention.
I knew they fucking blew their load.
How can people say that Nintendo "blew their load" when the game that will most likely become the best selling title for the Switch has yet to be released?
>15 minutes of Nintendo Direct had more news
All ports though
yea there was, rainbow curse
>a new empty slot appeared on the japanese direct overview page
Another Direct confirmed?
Was this only a ruse by Nintendo?
Stop making threads about this you stupid fucking retard. There are already like 10 threads about the same fucking thing.
this was just a direct mini, so there should be a full direct (about online and shit) probably in the next month or so
maybe nintendo shouldn't've blowed their load
>Bayo 3
>Port
This
I think a full direct shortly after a mini is a pretty common pattern so I'm not entirely surprised
I thought we were getting like a two-hour direct later today
Damn, people are still falling for that? We got the mini this morning, the tweet saying a 2 hour direct was today was from a fake account called "Nirtendo America"
I'm gonna have to wait till E3 for a new Smash reveal, aren't I?
>pokemon
>missing a fucking yearly release
HA
It was densely packed
It's a mini direct, meaning that there's possibility of a "one game focus" direct later.
Honestly I doubt smash is coming.
Why wait this long?
no game in 2015
>New Smash
>New
el oh el
You're getting a "best of" version of the 3DS/Wii U Smash
Yeah, and the last time before that was 2008. They're not due for another missed year for at least 3-4 years.
Smash 5 will be revealed next year and released in 2020
>nintendo fans yell "lol Sony just has ports and remasters."
>mini nintendo direct happens
>almost everything shown was ports, a remaster, and DLC
>nobody cares
Really makes me think
But to be honest, even this small direct was better then the PS Experience event.
Man, buy a better bait next time, this one really sucks. You aren't going to fish shit with such low quality bait.
>dad
You mean your mom's husband
>wanting a new smash
If Sakurai works on it (which he doesn't want to), it'll be full of retarded design decisions that hamper the gameplay. If Sakurai doesn't work on it and Nintendo grows the balls to make a Smash without him, it'll be full of garbage marketing-tier bullshit like the Amiibos and still have shit gameplay, except it won't even have any zany design decisions or roster additions to stir up some funny shitposting.
It's lose-lose. Let Smash rest peacefully.
Nobody bought the Wii U which had tons of great exclusives. Now Nintendo is indistinguishable from Sony and Microsoft. Just like them, their consoles will now have 2 or 3 exclusives, and everything else will be ports and remakes. That's the kind of consoles people think are "cool" so that's what Nintendo will make from here on out. The consumers have spoken, and they were wrong.
Here's a list of things Sony has told us about this year.
Yes, stupid. They're not going to reveal something huge like Smash in a fucking normal direct, let alone a mini direct.
You can't blame Nintendo on that one. Their marketing for the Wii U was shit. I've always been a big fan of Nintendo, at the time the Wii U released I'd bought pretty much every console theyd released since the 64, including handhelds. The Wii U was out over a year before I realized it was its own console and not another bullshit peripheral.
It's... weird.
I have 2 Switch games on my radar coming out this year (one originally early this year, but then delayed) that didn't show up: Dragon MFD and Octopath.
Very odd that neither had a showing.
On the other hand, I guess everything shown was either an announcement, or had a release date.
Dragon MFD
mini direct aren't for big games. Usually it's stuff like 3ds, indies, DLC, ports.
Well Dragon MFD is an indie
Also wait, are mini directs a thing? Are we expecting a non-mini direct at some point?
>no bayonetta 3
>no metroid 4
>no pokemon
>no fire emblem
>no smash
>no pikmin
>no animal crossing
>no octopath
>no xenoblade 2 update
>no third party support that people actually wanted like square and capcom promised
yup, they blew their load last year and now they are back to nogames
All the previous mini directs had directs the next month after them, so yes. There's probably going to be one next month, then one mid-late April/early May, then the E3 one in June.
>mini direct was 15 minutes
>micro direct was 17 minutes
WE NEED TO GO SMALLER
I see. I'm new to Nintendo's new stuff so this is good info.
That was a fucking spinoff game barely related to the mainline stuff. Are you stupid? Star Allies looks nothing like Rainbow Curse.
There was six (6) Direct between the January 2017 presentation and E3 2017, why would there be zero this year?
He fished six nintenguppies already, you included.
Mini directs are often accompanied by a regular direct soon after/before, so it's a possibility.
Usually the month after, but there have been rare cases where they throw out a mini, then a full direct later in the same month but that hasn't happened since 2013 and it's been the month after in most cases.
Either that, or we're about to get more mini directs, which is the alternative. Mini directs have never been by themselves.
Apparently the Japanese mini direct mentioned more mini directs coming up but I don't understand Japanese and I haven't seen concrete proof/news sites talking about it so I have my doubts.
I fucking knew it. Welcome to the glorious Wii U 2.0 era, where you'll enjoy your one big game every 7 months
That's more than what PSX shown last month.
All they shown was shit that was shown off earlier in the year and newer shit was stuff that was shown at the Game Awards or VR shit.
Besides, it's a short direct showing off what's coming in the Spring.
That's not everything because VC4, Mega Man 11, Fire Emblem and BBCTB are coming out this year for Switch.
