I don’t care what anyone says, this man got away with fucking murder. Possibly twice

I don’t care what anyone says, this man got away with fucking murder. Possibly twice.

He didn't kill anyone.

I guess you could call it a magic trick

t. Zak

He most certainly did. He claims he didn’t, but why should we believe him?

SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE

Did the writer intentionally made most of the characters in Apollo Justice despicable and unlikable? Zack was a piece of shit.

>magnifi deliberately makes zak come before valant, then commits suicide
>zak hides important evidence, then runs away and tries to cheat in a card game
>valant tries to frame zak for a murder that was actually a suicide

Valant is one of my favorite AA characters, and one of the few good ones from AJ.

If I remember correctly, he said Magnifi commited suicide. But think of the logic that made us suspect him in the first place. Those two peculiar guns. Are we to believe that magnifi took the gun and shot himself in the head?
If Magnifi had shot himself, the gun would have laid either in his hands or near his body on the floor. It would not have been on that table in front of him or absent from the scene. Also, Magnifi’s prints weren’t on the gun.
You could argue that Valant placed the gun on that table, but he didn’t testify as such in or out of court, nor did he have any reason to do that.

>Thalassa's kids think she's dead
>doesn't tell them she's alive even after regaining her sight and memory

He was a fun witness.

What if Valant took that gun away?

>he said Magnifi commited suicide. But think of the logic that made us suspect him in the first place.
Wright did, not just us.
>Are we to believe that magnifi took the gun and shot himself in the head?
Nobody in that fucking shit game cared anymore. But yes fuck magicians. Magnify had cancer and was about to die, but somehow after apologizing to his faillure of a student he took his own life. It's shit writing.
>If Magnifi had shot himself, the gun would have laid either in his hands or near his body on the floor.
Zak wiped the gun and rearranged the crime scene. I'm not gonna replay this fucking game just to screencap this shit.

Furthermore, the gun can only load one bullet. If Magnifi killed himself, the gun would be empty. Valant cannot claim that he shot the clown. Clearly, both magicians were obligated to shoot something; if Zak shot the clown, what does that leave Valant to shoot?

The best waybto get away with murder in these games is having the MC defend you.

*Valant wiped the gun and rearranged the crime scene.
Mixed up the names.

Couldn’t the Judge order a warrant to search Zak and Valant’s homes?
Also, Valant can claim that he rearranged the scene, but that would be quite convenient for him, and there’s no real proof that he did.

Even if they did find the 2nd gun somewhere else, who would be able to prove that there were originally two guns in the room ?
The bullet in the clown's head didn't help the case. The court could just hand wave something like a spare bullet.

>ballistic markings

Meant for

Oh please. Valant wouldn't hurt a fly. He's all talk.

IIRC ballistic markings only prove the model of the gun. In this case one of the bullets wasn't in its original shape so in theory it would be hard to fully recover its marking.
But I may be wrong. This is the job for those people who think AA4 is not the worst game to replay that scene and answer your question.

It depends, actually. Any barrel that has been rifled will have subtle differences in make that could be seen under a microscope.
During firing, the barrel imprints its markings into the bullet.
Guns are even tested to confirm the marks are mostly the same.
As long as the bullet is not completely deformed, a test is possible.

>The Gramaryes were the worst thing that happened to Ace Attorney
Prove me wrong.

Extraterritorial rights

>one case vs. half of AJ
Nah.

>As long as the bullet is not completely deformed
Well that was the thing I couldn't remember clearly. So I can't help you there. Maybe you should replay it/watch someone playing it.

AAI2-3 was the worst thing that happened to Ace Attorney.

What was the third case? The desert contest? It was fine.

Whoops, meant dessert

Is he still alive? I don't remember Apollo Hustice that well but I thought everyone but Trucy's mom died?

Most likely in prison for prejury.

Consider the ramifications of this case.

It was an amazing experience and a show stealer, sets AAI2 miles above AAI1, and overall is a milestone for the franchise.

He meant the case was responsible for the chain of events happened in AA. The case itself was bittersweet.

STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS

HOLIDAY, OH A HOLIDAY

Seeing Miles solve the case that fucked his dads life was one of my favorite fucking moments in AA
Even if the case felt a bit slow at times it was just so fucking good
Damn I shod replay aai2

AAI2 is a world apart from AAI1 but I wouldn't say it's because of Case 3...
