Holy shit ZSNESfags BTFO
Holy shit ZSNESfags BTFO
>ZSNESfags
Those actually exist? Shit hasn't been updated in 10 years.
mostly a bunch of braindead faggots who actually think the UI isn't a disgusting pile of
Which emulator is this?
Its not an emulator
>caring about UI
Monkey. It runs the games. I’m not autistic enough to care about anything else.
ZSNES can load roms without having to use a mouse and, unlike RetroArch, doesn't require navigating submenus after submenus and nor does it unceremoniously close itself if you accidentally hit Esc.
People still use ZSNES?
If you want a toaster friendly emulator at least use snes9x which still gets updates
>CuckArch
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
What update could an SNES emulator need?
so why not use an emulator that runs games better and also doesn't have a godawful UI?
What the fuck it runs games perfectly. What god awful PC do you have that it can’t run 16 but games?
>UI
I’m not an autist so I don’t care.
Fucking this
Die you fucking ZSNESfag
Accuracy and compatibility
>Those actually exist?
lots of people used zsnes back in the day since it was pretty much the only good emulator at the time.
though, im sure you must have been too young to remember that. you should be grateful you grew up at a time where theres better emulators to use.
>RetroArch chose the best possible UI design for their program
Goddamn I love the XMB
>an emulator for 27 year old console needs updates
You have a legitimate learning disability, don't you?
fuck bros...
This. Who the fuck cares about the damn UI.
Let me rephrase, since you seem retarded or underage.
>an emulator that already run most games perfectly back in the early 2000s for a console released in the 90s with no new games released nowadays needs updates
Where is my retro arch tutorial on youtube. i can't find any. i get the feeling they are all blocked in my country. can someone link me to some tutorials how to set it up so that i can see if those links work for me?
>best UI design
but that's not openemu
comfy as fuck, didn't even know you could do that
Dreamcast core on android when?
This desu, I like how that user hasn't replied
>an emulator that already run most games perfectly
>""""""""""""perfectly""""""""""""
>emulator autists that care about accuracy
What's their deal?
>look for the option
>realize im only on 1.3.6
Holy shit I gotta update
Why the fuck do you need a tutorial for retroarch? It's literally idiot proof and automatically downloads what you need for it to work straight from the menu. Unless you need a guide on how to download ROMS like a fucking idiot child
>retrocuck
fuck off daniel.
>perfectly
Good one
user no need to reply to (you)rself
It's like GNOME, everything is so dumbed down that it's outright complicated to use
>What the fuck it runs games perfectly.
No it doesn't. It has glitches in many games, some outright unplayable. And the audio is off in so many games. Like shit, do you even have ears?
youtube.com
The fuck is this? Looks like the PS3 UI.
No, it really isnt
Die you fucking autist. If you’re being elitist over fucking emulators then you should kill yourself.
Oh no, glitches in some random shovelware titles that no one will ever play. Literally unusable.
>Super Mario RPG is shovelware
lets collectively go to /vr/ together :D
Damn I didn't know about this, and it's beautiful.
Thanks user.
>Mac
>all these emulator plebs arguing
Pathetic. Shits been out for almost 27 years and you losers still don't have 200+ games for it like a normal person with a job. Kill yourselves.
They won't let me talk about ps 2 games there.
HOLY SHIT ZSNESFAGS BTFO YET AGAIN
youtube.com
I am a dumb phone poster, not the same user silly
ZSNES is useful for romhacks that don't work right without it. That's it.
I stopped using retroarch recently, really fucking tries too hard to be accessible that it becomes annoying as shit
Snes9x can do the same.
>there are znesfags
this is literally worse than believing in god
*tips fedora*
are you from /r/atheism too m'gentlesir?? OwO
where's ripple, ripple was where it was at
I used Zsnes on a awesomely weak netbook powered by an AMD Geode cpu, it was one of the only emulators that run on it. I really don't see use for zsnes when you can use snes9x for a bettee emulation or bsnes for max accuracy, any core2quad can run bsnes so there aren't many excuses to not use it
I was ZSNES fag way a long time ago but there was nothing else I could find that worked.
Are there even any good games on the super nintendo? None spring to mind after zelda and crono
No what core is the best. How is it idiot proof. You need to set it up correctly first. I don't even know how to save / change save slot / load save.
>Are there even any good games on the super nintendo?
Kys
I guess some people like earthbound?
Dk country is fun for a bit? Are you like a big secret of mana fan or something? I mean seriously what could you still be playing on a 30 year old console that you didn't play to death as a child?
It's all in the menus you fucking triple nigger. Also if you're too much of an idiot to try each core and see which one you like best then maybe you shouldn't be on a computer in the first place.
>be dev
>can't get hired to do anything cause too shit
>make an emulator for old console
>nobody uses it
>everyone still using an unupdated emulator from a decade ago
you will never be this salty
WHY ISNT THERE YET A EMULATOR TO JUST RUN EVERY SNES/NES/GENESIS/GAMEBOY/WHATEVER OTHER RETRO GAME PERFECTLY?
WHY THE FUCK YOU NEED MULTIPLE EMULATORS TO RUN 8 BITS GAMES?!
Retroarch comes with a bunch of older, less accurate cores so you can still run it on weak tablets/toasters, along with all the modern ones. Don't see any reason to use another emulator since you have all the options you need with it.
What? Retroarch literally solves the problem of having ten separate emulators .
That's literally what Retroarch is for.
good thing you don't need to use retromeme if you dont want to, snes9x is a far superior emulator to zsnes. zsnes only use is now just playing all those romhacks that don't run on anything else.
I always hear about all these problems all these emulators have but I've never had an issue emulating a game.
>mfw people pay actual money for android emulators filled with ads when Retroarch is free in the store and runs literally the exact same software ad free
>t.NESfag
Because you only emulate mainstream shit faggot
The big inherent problem with Retroarch is the XMB.
>try Sonic Adventure using Reicast
>freezes up early on, I decide to try the other core
>have to use the XMB to navigate all the way back to my emulators/dreamcast/games folder
>pick the other core
>doesn't work
>wasted 30 seconds on this shit
Retroarch with an easily-navigated frontend is god tier though. Also recommend me some new games for this, I'm kinda starved
...
>The big inherent problem with Retroarch is the XMB.
and that all the emulator options are simplistic as fuck
Speaking of Android emulators, what's a good one?
Bizhawk >>>>>>> Retroarch
Are you fucking stupid
>The big inherent problem with Retroarch is the XMB.
You take that back. I'm still pissed at Sony for removing the XMB for the Vita and PS4
>have to use the XMB to navigate all the way back to my emulators/dreamcast/games folder
You can set a default folder, user
I think it supports some romhacks that others don't
>slow browsing, mouse required
Macfags everyone
Are you
That too.
>can't even specify what's in what controller slot for Dreamcast
>all four controllers have to have jump packs for some reason
emulation.gametechwiki.com
It's good on its own, but not the best when you have a shitload of list items.
I had no idea. That mitigates it a bit, but it's still tedious as hell. Or maybe it's my fault for having almost 9,000 games.
Tell me the most up-to-date BEST SNES emulator right now.
Eh. I still prefer Bizhawk.
>Tell me the most up-to-date BEST SNES emulator right now.
Not sure I can do that but I can tell you that I use snes9x
Higan or bsnes-classic
>Or maybe it's my fault for having almost 9,000 games.
L1/R1 scrolls down to the next letter. Triangle opens a search box.
>mario ugh how utterly pleb.
hah. I love Sup Forums posters. they get elitist over literally nothing.
This. I use zsnes and it annoys me how you have to install everything 1 by 1 and set this and that up and hope it works and yadda yadda yadda, it drains your energy by the time you even get to the game you don't even feel like playing it anymore. Why is there not an emulator that has everything already and you just download it and it works straight away and then you just click and play. Why does everything have to be so confusing and time consuming, it is annoying as fuck.
>Triangle opens a search box.
Yeah, it's a big pain in the ass with a controller. I like Big Box for letting me use the D-pad to jump around.
Retroarch.
>Higan
That thing can't even stretch to fill screen. Just go for snes9x
I want this, but I am so fucking afraid of it beeing infested with some malware and shit.
I never owned a mac, so I am fucking carefull with that shit.
Mario is for fucking plebs though, retard
>load up retroarch
>try to play a psx game
>doesn't work
>load up epsxe
>game works
why bother?
>>load up retroarch
>>try to play a psx game
>>doesn't work
You have to have the right BIOS, and non shit game dumps.
Why do brainlets use GUIs when you can easily do it faster with command line?
Does Retroarch have everything installed and setup and ready? Do I need to download roms and fiddle around setting up controls and shit? If so then Retroarch is not the answer. In this day and age everything should be ready for click and play in an emulator.
you fucking pussy incel it's safe, i've had it on my old-ass imac for years. grow a pair, take a shower, hit the weights, get a clue
Why on earth would you want to do that, user?
Exactly the opposite for me.
>try every single PS1 emulator on the Emulation General Wiki
>none of them can boot even one game
>try Retroarch
>I'm able to launch fucking EBOOTs of all things
No, it doesn't come with games, that's insane. You set up controls once, and never have to again.
i was using the schp1001 or whatever for the psx that i used in the epsxe.
>Do I need to download roms
Of course you do.
>fiddle around setting up controls
Not for most controllers.
It's free and open source, you don't need to pirate it.
