DQB is an RPG trhough and trhough with quests, a main story, side characters etc
It also works like a "city simulator" at times, it gives a point to the formula plus the OST is amazing.

I enjoyed the first one a lot but there were obvious things they can improve on like combat and the free build mode. Multiplayer free build with a town you can manage and npcs to please would be so damn amazing.
