The man who successfully leaked the Nintendo Direct a week ahead of time has revealed a shocking secret. Star Fox Zero is being ported to Switch... completely unchanged.
>The game will launch at $60 and be packaged in with a gamepad accessory that you can attach your joycons too. Nintendo is VERY eager to bring the gamepad back for Star Fox Zero, Pikmin and various party games. >You can also use another Switch in place of this accessory >Motion controls ARE STILL MANDATORY >Nintendo is preparing a series of 'how to' videos showcasing them in action.
These motion controls were literal cancer. I grew up playing Star Fox on my SNES and considered myself to be an ace pilot. But trying to wrap my head around this game was just too much.
Nintendo needs to get it through their heads that these motion controls DO NOT WORK.
Robert Turner
>Marcus Sellars This guy has never once been right. Ever. Even Robertson and the tranny have been more right than this idiot.
Elijah Allen
He correctly predicted the Direct date. There's no reason not to believe him.
You're just jealous.
Joshua Powell
>He correctly predicted the Direct date After backpedaling twice and deleting all tweets.
Ethan Rogers
No.
Jaxon Mitchell
Motion controls do work but only contained specific types of games like on rails fps games.
Jordan Miller
He got the date from other people, and he was going "oh they're going to announce the direct will be on the 11th" when it was put out with no announcement
Joseph Bennett
he had a prediction for basically every thursday of January.
Luis King
>He correctly predicted the Direct date >they're announcing this today >they're announcing it tomorrow >i-if they don't announce it this week, it will be next week >it's sometime this month, there WILL be a direct lol
>be packaged in with a gamepad accessory that you can attach your joycons too. Nintendo is VERY eager to bring the gamepad back >Nintendo is VERY eager to bring the gamepad back
This goes beyond "so retarded Nintendo is probably doing it" to "so unbelievably, suicidally retarded that not even the most braindead of Nintendo's employees or managerial positions would give it a thought".
Owen Russell
>with a gamepad accessory that you can attach your joycons too So a fucking touch screen? Bundled with a game for only sixty bucks? Yeah no
Brody Wood
>The game will launch at $60 and be packaged in with a gamepad accessory that you can attach your joycons too retard
Henry Bailey
See it's Cody again Move along people
Dominic Mitchell
fuck off marcus you didn't successfully leak shit, there were multiple other people that said it was on the 11th, you just parroted them all, then backpedale like the cuck that you are and now are riding on their coattails
kys yourself
Lincoln Hernandez
>Motion controls are still Mandatory So they didn't learn the first time?
>no extra content >no multiplayer Why bother then?
Luis Campbell
I never even heard of this guy before this thread to be fair
Jonathan Clark
And I'll continue to not buy it.
Chase Gray
>Star Fox Zero is being ported to Switch... completely unchanged. god, if this is true then star fox will fucking die for real
Michael Martin
>he bought a wiiu
Nathaniel Rogers
Andross' paw
Ethan Gonzalez
Jesus christ, the game had no content in the first place and the gameplay was bad even by gamepad standarts Miyamoto truly has lost it. Just fucking let people play it like an actual Star Fox game
Carter Young
The same sort of control concept was used beautifully in Sin and Punishment: Star Successor, which was so incredible it's my second favorite Wii game and possibly my favorite game in this genre.
That game didn't have a bullshit 2 screens gimmick or gyro controls though so it actually made sense to play.
Aaron Walker
Star Fox Zero is one of the shittiest games I have ever played. I really think Shiggy is going senile if he actually thought those controls were a good idea.
Isaiah Gomez
>Motion controls ARE STILL MANDATORY And dropped.
Nolan Lewis
YER GONNA LISTEN TO THAT MONKEY?
Jaxon Watson
They work but you need to learn how to properly move the control, like in Wii Sport's bowling I could never get rid of a slight deviation so I had to accommodate to it.
Austin Green
This literally cannot work unchanged on the switch, what?
Jaxon Sanders
Motion isn't the problem, they're great in Splatoon
The problem is shot design
Jordan Foster
Okay but how do you look at both screens at once?
It's not even like just the gyro aiming was bad, the fucking controls for doing somersaults and U-turns were fucking nonsense as well, let alone the platforming segments with the chicken walker.
Evan Roberts
>Motion controls ARE STILL MANDATORY considering the Mario Odyssey motion bullshit, that doesnt sorprend me at all...
i never said that tmotion controll was mandatory, only that are bullshit, because restricting certain moves behind them, when you have HALF THE BUTTONS DOING THE SAME THING, it's fuking retarded!
Ryan Rivera
>Nintendo is VERY eager to bring the gamepad back for Star Fox Zero, Pikmin and various party games. No they're fucking not.
Jason Rodriguez
Sellars is a mixed bag. He said that Bamco was gonna have a press event in December. It happened But then he said Dark Souls Switch wasnt at the press event. At yet here it is today.
Carter Butler
Anyone else find men more aesthetic to look at than women but only want to have sex with women?
William Barnes
You're still a faggot.
Nicholas Ward
>bamco leak said we’d get Soul Calibur 6, Dark Souls Switch and Xenosaga HD >2 have come true God I hope Xenosaga HD happens
Jonathan Turner
Wow until now I didn't know Buck Angel had a target audience.
Grayson Allen
Does Wolf comes in a package?
Aiden Bell
I just like cocks
Bentley Jackson
>The game will launch at $60 and be packaged in with a gamepad accessory
Jaxon Young
But the thought of having sex with a dude is disgusting to me. I just like looking at their strong muscles and bodies. I only want sex with women.
Aiden Stewart
Women have terrible personality and their meatholes look gross to me. Men look so much better. And unlike females men with age only look better until they hit 70s
Hunter Allen
>But trying to wrap my head around this game was just too much.
Star Fox Zero's control system was fine. You're just set in your ways.
Nicholas Gutierrez
get out of here Shiggy and learn how to make games again
Ryder Gomez
That Marcuck can succ my dicc
Landon Lee
>The man who successfully leaked the Nintendo Direct a week ahead of time who is also the man who deleted all of his tweets about the direct happening, when it wasn't revealed yesterday. He was trying desperately to sweet it all under the rug. Now he is just trying to take credit for the leak while diverting attention away from the leak by starting new bullshit rumors.
Don't fall for his bullshit.
John Jones
>The man who successfully leaked the Nintendo Direct a week ahead of time
Liam Gutierrez
>gamepad
What are you referring to?
Charles Parker
Nuh-uh, they wouldn't release anything that requires a pack-in accessory because that will deter any download-only switch owners of which there are probably quite a few.
David Kelly
>>Motion controls ARE STILL MANDATORY
NO. Fuck you Nintendo.
Henry Thompson
These motion controls have been killing Nintendo for over a decade. No one wants this shit. NO ONE. Wii Sports Resort bombed, Skyward Sword bombed, Star Fox Zero bombed.
FORGET IT NINTENDO. It's never happening.
Levi Morales
JUST. ADD. MULTIPLAYER.
You can tell from the designs on areas like Venom (trenches that the AI never make use of) and Corneria Tower (buildings that serve no purpose at all), and Star Wolf having fucking special attacks that they were planning it at some point and just dropped it because they knew the game would bomb anyway.
A full fledged arena shooter with improved gyro control like splatoon 2 would be the best. Switching from the arwing to the chicken/wolf on the fly is a great compromise to assaults multiplayer. Plus this would make the sparse campaign seem more like a bonus rather than "that's it"
Jose Jackson
Wait, Marcus Sellars has just revealed new info.
The single player is completely unchanged, but Nintendo is also adding in an expansive multiplayer mode that uses the motion controls for immerive, engaging boss fights. That is, if they FUCKING WORK.
Easton Harris
>Wii Sports Resort bombed It literally sold as much as the entire exclusive PS4 catalog put together.
Caleb Thompson
Go fuck yourself Nintensoyboy. To do that it would have to outperform Uncharted 4, which has sold 10 MILLION UNITS, and continues to sell more every week.
Benjamin Ward
Why on rails? The Prime trilogy controlled beautifully.
Luis Perez
Why bother? beyond the controls, it still isn't a good star fox game. mediocre levels, a shorter campaign than star fox 64, the entire gyrocopter level, and the overuse of all range mode.
They need to star from scratch with Shiggy's influence. They need to take the lessons learned from Assault and use that to make a new, expansive, star fox game with a longer campaign, harder difficulty levels, and a deep multiplayer mode with a lot of customization.
Elijah Walker
>assault
This is why I don't take Zero's critics seriously. No one fucking likes Assault.
Josiah Flores
uh.....
Bentley Bennett
>Star Fox Zero on switch I believe it >with the gamepad never gonna happen. Zero is the game that killed and buried the gamepad concept. If they were ever going to port the game, they would also re-work it as a single screen experience. Furthermore, no port of such an unsuccessful game would ever come with such an expensive peripheral.
Tyler Diaz
>That photoshop
That's Skyrim level sales, idiot. It oculd never have done that well.
Luis Foster
I would be incredibly fucking surprised if they did this. And I loved SFZ.
Motion controls and dual screens isn’t hard, I’ve seen kids do it. But good luck trying to get retarded journalists to get it right, even with videos. I’d have to give credit to Nintendo if they did it though because it’d be a really ballsy move.
But they most likely won’t. The only way this would get through is if Miyamoto pushed it since Star Fox Zero and Pikmin were his. But who knows, we’ll see.
Justin Barnes
Assault is like the Star Wars prequel trilogy. it tried a whole bunch of new things, took the series in a new direction, and ultimately failed to achieve what it wanted to do. the on foot stuff was especially bad, It also had an amazing soundtrack. Zero is like the new Sequel Trilogy films, a shallow reboot that re-treads the same thing we've played before with small subtle tweaks without really doing anything new other than the convoluted control scheme.
