Mishima is one of the most rewarding links the the most boring fuckin story. I already have a self insert in the protagonist, I don't need an every man. Taranosuke is a way better every man anyway.

I get it, Mishima is supposed to be the normal guy that conquers his shadow self without needing powers or a change of heart, but the guy is just so boring to hang out with. Plus he gets over his abuse was soon as soon as you beat Kamoshida and just ends up being an asshole that didn't learn anything.

I don't know, i actually found Mishima to be one of the most interesting and relatable characters, who tries to do his best without supernatural powers.
I actually found the sterile perfect waifus to be the most boring s links.

Rejig the Empress SL. You can meet Haru outside the school from June, struggling with a bag of compost. If you choose to help her, she begins her SL. The first 4 levels are now her talking with you, removing all mentions of PT, but she seems troubled.
This lets you have the vegetables her SL gives you done early and in time for the harder dungeons. Once you recruit her, the SL progresses as normal. This gives you more time to get to know her before her dungeon.

P5 had some of the best looking, least interesting waifus I agree. Something about Mishima just made him my least favourite almost right away. His arc felt like a weird mash up of "I'm going to find my justice, just like the Phantom thieves!" And "Wahh Phantom Thieves carry out my will." I get that by the end you help him learn that he's a hypocrite and it was cool that he's the only link whose shadow you meet, but still changes himself. I just think that having him learn what his justice was by really wanting to take some guy's heart, while idolizing the Phantom thieves for like 7 levels and after experiencing injustice and abuse and literally first hand experiencing a change of heart in his abuser, he still turned out to be an asshole that you still had to fix.

They even could've made hi, abuse his power in other ways like rigging the rankings on his site or some thing, but instead it gives you this lapdog relationship with him where you're not actually a lapdog because the PTs are always in a position to deny his wishes.

Also he's just a fuckin lame ass.

Aigis' one was fine. People only dislike the character at all because the game pushing her so hard as being the one who "won" the MCbowl (she didn't technically, but got close enough for most people) messes with their ships.

Aigis' was boring. It added nothing new about her character and it rehash of her "I want to be human" thing that already happens in the main game. The only reasons added in because of waifufags

The other games having most of it's characters barely get any development at all beyond joining the team doesn't make P3's s.links rehashes.
