Holy shit, is DK island actually ancient Kremling Klay?
Decide to dust off the SNES and play DKC

DK island is the birthright of the Kremlings. When you think about it the DKC trilogy is pretty fucked up when you put into account the fact that Diddy and Dixie genocide the kremlin grace in DKC2’s secret ending
k rool did nothing wrong. He just wanted to reclaim the land that was his
>try to reclaim clay
>end up stealing the banana hoard
??????????????????????????
To be fair, K.Rool was abusing the power of the krocodile core which sunk their homeland.
The banana hoard was obviously to lure them out and defeat them, but the operation went awry because kremlings are kind of shit soldiers
the kongs are literal lazy monekeys.
Why would they even be an issue?
the victors write the history books
Also the mystery of Krem Kroc industries. If the Kremlings are invading then how long have they had those factories there?
did you skip all the history classes in grade school? K. Rool obviously took the bananas with a plan to do a simple trade off, but DK didn't want that
Where are the residence of tree top town? Who are they? Is it a village of Manky Kongs?
go to sleep grandpa. the new age is here and we are STRONG
the factories were built by the Tiki-tak tribe in order to make more tikis. The kremlings took over the derelict factories.
DKCR is a prequel
...
No game will capture the feel of the original DKC series. It had excellent timeless graphics but they did suffer a bit from the low resolution because certian objects were obscured.
It creates a sense of mystery and bewilderment. I notice all these little details in the games and sometimes wonder what i'm looking at.
Why does everyone hate DKC3 again? Its great.
Who is this Kong?
Honkey Kong.
He has a well-paying job and lives far away.
"oh no, these people have a corrupt leader, better exterminate the entire culture"
spoken like a true American, I bet you think Hiroshima was justified.
Euphoric Kong
Kinky Kong
Nagasaki AND Hiroshima. I think a third would be alright too
Americans saved them. After the nukes slapped some sense into them they became a wealthy world player.
It's easier than the others, the country theme isn't that great and the music is complete ass.
The nukes literally saved japan ahmed.
theyve been there since before the great ape war. this is all within the instructions manual
Who made them?
...
stop making me cry. I already have gray hair
>his son
Stopped reading here. Cranky is DK's grandpa.
They became emasculated cucks who jack off to used childrens panties and work 18 hours a day to avoid killing themselves.
Just like whites. Americans basically elevated them to your levels.
It goes back and forth. Sometimes Cranky is Donkey's dad, sometimes his grandpa, both have been in main line DK games.
>enter dkc thread
>get Sup Forums crazies
????
Considering the fact that Cranky is the original DK, the DKC series takes place in the future of Mario.
On the other side of the inland is Great Ape City and has humans living there. They built the factories before the Kremlings using their knowledge of superior business tactics made a hostile takeover of the company that built them and now they own them.
8ch's having one of their "OPS" again. Probably both larping as the opposite
The the island was once Kremling land, ancient ancient Kremling land. Then Humans and Kongs came?
When the fuck are they gonna bring back the DK64 crew?
HE has been banished to the realms of hell for his crimes against humanity and the other one will never be allowed in a donkey game again for being associated with a swear word
Yes, but the Kremlings still originated from Crocodile Island which also has Kremling civilization ruins and the Lost World in it. They must've been a mighty empire once.
WE
>OG DK is an old man
>Mario is nowhere to be seen
F
Wrong AND incomplete.
Whatever happened to Stanley, anyway?
Beavers, you dumb fuck
retconned out of existence
Beavers don't climb trees, they destroy them.
deepest lore
But Tropical Freeze had a DK3 cameo...
literally every single kremling they came across would attack them unprovoked.
example: the kongs get hurt merely by being in contact with a kremling, but not the other way around.
Banana horde is the fort nox of DK Island, K. Rool needed to cripple their banana economy.
>giant monkey that could easily rip me in half runs towards me
>I defend myself
How is this wrong
>all these grown men having a serious discussion about the history of an imaginary island named entirely after animal puns
No fun allowed
I used to think like this, then about halfway through college the brainwashing started to wear off and I realized America was obviously and totally unjustified in every aspect of WWII.
Just look at how the average pleb views WWII, it's the fucking creation myth of the post-modern era. Complete with 100% Mary Sue good guys and ULTIMATE EVIL BAD GUYS and even a final chapter redemption arc.
It's a perfect story, because it is mostly bullshit.
101 stormfacts. Read the rest on stormfront and wake up!
Odd enough rare never took it seriously despite the beautiful aesthetic.
I thought K Rool wanted only the bananas for their special powers, but this detail adds a new layer.
Mines are present in DKC2's island too, so those in DKC1 are most likely kremlin's work, eh? Not Kong's.
>it's the fucking creation myth of the post-modern era
This is why college is bad for you.
It's possible, but the difference is the Mines in DKC look long abandoned. The ones in DKC 2 seem active, even the music makes it feel like while you're in the level there are kremling miners chanting as they mine gems.
Also it's possible the Monkey Mines specifically mine for crystal coconuts.
Hiroshima was a mistake, it should have been Tokyo
Faggot ass progressive. Cut your dick off already
Mines are operated by moles, haven't you played Returns?
Considering the ruins nearby, Rockrocs are probably the souls of ancient Kremlings possessing rocks or an ancient sub-species that was forced underground by ancient kongs who mutated into their current form.
The stop/go system was probably set up by Kong or maybe Kremling miners as a control mechanism since Rockkrocs are invincible.
>halfway through college the brainwashing started to wear off
No, that's where the brainwashing kicked in.
Unironically the best thread right now on Sup Forums, also deepest lore

>Only level in the game to use the mine cart level theme (with a different background) without being a minecart level.
>unique enemy
>Also has it's own unique music that nobody remembers.
Strange how DK2 doesn't have this, with almost all the level themes having their own music and no theme only used once.
>The Great Banana Split
The manual for DKC confirms Cranky is DK's grandpa. Anything different is literally a retcon.
How does the original arcade stage being on DK island instead of in New Donk City fits into the lore?
Also reminder that Metroid, Game&Watch and Banjo all take place in DK's universe.
where do the land games fit in the timeline?
Misty Mine has the same background type and ost.
Daddy Kong
Oh shit, yeah I always forget about Chimp Caverns levels because the world always seemed like a rush job and I was also too shit to get past Gorilla Glacier as a kid.
Seriously, they could have done an alt-color of slip slide ride theme for that world and it bothers me that they didn't.
At least it contributes to the uniqueness of the ice cavern level.
But I loved those paint jobs they have to some backgrounds. Like green caves, or purple ones in minigames, and jungles at night that even transitioned mid-game and pic related.
The transitions of the jungle levels were amazing.
It also recently hit me that Tree top Town was inspired by the Ewok cities and that the pine tree forest theme music takes influence from the ewok song.
