Metal Slug isn't for me, great graphics though and Silver was already outdone by the remake.

It's so fucking good and full of content. I recently replayed it on the wave of FighterZ hype for the franchise and it's just so well-done and replayable, even if some situations it dumps you in are near-impossible to do without getting damaged. Having 30 playable characters (8 for 1v1) isn't too bad either.

I've got other games on a list to play, and I also don't spend a lot of money on vidya because I'm cheap. I'd grab it if not for the fact that I'm buying my first full-price day-one game in over half a decade in a couple weeks.

Don't think they're bad, just really not a fan of Donkey Kong Country games, nor 3D Mario platformers myself(Most 3D platformers in general). An answer that probably won't please anyone. Liked FF9, MM, MGS3 & LttP.

Yeah I see where you're coming from. But god DAMN that Chao Garden shit was so good. Haven't really experienced anything quite like it in a videogame before, so that and pretty much the best 3D sonic gameplay in the series made me drop it in my 3x3.

I really wish I would have been able to put TTYD because as far as Nintendo games go it has the most, without a doubt, aesthetic. Too bad the endless backtracking completely left me frustrated and wanting the game to end.
Hollow Knight is great, my GOTY for last year. If you like the 2D Metroid games then you should definitely like it, it's one of the most open platformers of that style that I've played and it makes a lot of fun to replay because of that alone.
I didn't notice how surface-level my taste is.
I'd barely call that surface-level. Compared to Sup Forums maybe.
I'm really excited for Star Allies even though I don't have a Switch yet. Also haven't gotten to the addition SK campaigns, but I'm planning to once I get back to my dorm.

Used to display the + and - shit but stopped the past few threads. I'll usually point out some stuff every now and then, but get tired repeating the same old things and don't feel like forcing anything. Not many rate my mosiac anymore as is, most seem to think it's bait since RE6 is on there, so i just try and get it over with. I'll let anons ask if they really care enough. Only feel obligated to post because I don't like how DMC3-centric this board is and the first is my fave, not that i'm blaming anyone. Don't know where my DMC1 bros went, used to see a few.

Many anons will, and rightfully so. Would you rather see Nocturne again though, Strange journey? I can assure you i've played and completed most all the SMT games, even including NES/SNES incarnations. Soul Hackers is just fairly unique among the SMT games I think, you're in a cyberpunk-esque world full of demons, but it hasn't gone to shit. Lack of press-turn does not bother me, nor does first person dungeon crawlan.

People post their 9 personal favorite games (because a 3x3 grid is aesthetically pleasing) and then people rate them on a scale of Games Liked (X) out of Games Played (Y): X/Y
Then the ratings often lead to discussions of favorite/underrated games and recommendations between people who have similar taste. Enjoyable threads, although they usually die before 100 posts.
I just really liked it. I wouldn't say it's a masterpeice or anything but it's the most pure fun I've had playing in years.
